Beloved, I submit to you that the Holy Spirit plays a key role in every work of God. Especially in the lives of those who believe and trust in Him.
He is sometimes referred to as “The Finger of God”. The finger of God is a reference to God’s unlimited power as He intervenes directly in the affairs of men. The working of the finger of God is unmistakable.
No device of man can compete with that power, as even the heathen magicians came to recognize in Moses’ day.
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐲 𝐒𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐬 – 𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐬𝐢𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐭𝐡
We all want to know truth and any revelation of sin in the believers life can only be possible through the Holy Spirit.
The revelation of sin is to correct us and lead us into repentance and redemption.
Jesus said of The Holy Spirit in John 16:8 AMP that…
“And He, when He comes, will convict the world about [the guilt of] sin [and the need for a Savior], and about righteousness, and about judgment:”
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐲 𝐒𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 – 𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 (𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝟑:𝟓)
Jesus said in John 3:5-6 AMP …
“Jesus answered, “I assure you and most solemnly say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot [ever] enter the kingdom of God.
That which is born of the flesh is flesh [the physical is merely physical], and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.”
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐲 𝐒𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐭 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐬 – 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧 𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬 (𝟏 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝟔:𝟏𝟗)
The Holy Spirit dwells in us , making it possible for us to be who God created us to be. We belong to Him, we are not our own property.
1 Corinthians 6:19 AMP tells us…
“Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is within you, whom you have [received as a gift] from God, and that you are not your own [property]?”
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐲 𝐒𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐭 𝐒𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐬 – 𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐬 𝐆𝐨𝐝’𝐬 𝐨𝐰𝐧
Ephesians 1:13-14 AMP
“In Him, you also, when you heard the word of truth, the good news of your salvation, and [as a result] believed in Him, were stamped with the seal of the promised Holy Spirit [the One promised by Christ] as owned and protected [by God].
The Spirit is the guarantee [the first installment, the pledge, a foretaste] of our inheritance until the redemption of God’s own [purchased] possession [His believers], to the praise of His glory.”
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐲 𝐒𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐭 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐬 – 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐬 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐭𝐡 (𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝟏𝟔:𝟏𝟑)
Jesus encouraged us in John 16:13 AMP saying…
“But when He, the Spirit of Truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth [full and complete truth].
For He will not speak on His own initiative, but He will speak whatever He hears [from the Father—the message regarding the Son], and He will disclose to you what is to come [in the future].”
NOW LET US PRAY
Most Holy God, thank You for this day in our lives. Your name is glorified.
Thank You, Lord Jesus for the gift of the Holy Spirit. The one who hold our lives together.
Father, help us to yield our lives to Him so that we can be who You want us to be.
Lord, help us to respond to Your unconditional love towards us.
Help us to trust You to supply our needs according to Your glorious riches.
Holy Spirit, abide with each one of us in our going in and going out throughout this today.
