Beloved, humility is not a sign of weakness…in fact, it is the mark of a life being fueled by God’s blessings and protection.
You can be assertive and be humble. There is a difference. Humility allows us to think less of ourselves.
The Word of God warns that God opposes the proud. Humility attracts the presence of God into our lives.
James 4:6-7 AMP tells us…
“But He gives us more and more grace [through the power of the Holy Spirit to defy sin and live an obedient life that reflects both our faith and our gratitude for our salvation].
Therefore, it says, “God is opposed to the proud and haughty, but [continually] gives [the gift of] grace to the humble [who turn away from self-righteousness].” [Prov 3:34] So therefore submit to [the authority of] God. Resist the devil [stand firm against him] and he will flee from you.”
1 Peter 5:5 AMP says
“Likewise, you younger men [of lesser rank and experience], be subject to your elders [seek their counsel]; and all of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another [tie on the servant’s apron], for God is opposed to the proud [the disdainful, the presumptuous, and He defeats them], but He gives grace to the humble. [Prov 3:34]”
Matthew 5:3 AMP tells us…
“Blessed [spiritually prosperous, happy, to be admired] are the poor in spirit [those devoid of spiritual arrogance, those who regard themselves as insignificant], for theirs is the kingdom of heaven [both now and forever]. [Luke 6:20-23]”

NOW LET US PRAY.
Most Holy God, thank You for this glorious day of life.
Lord, help us to cultivate hearts of humility so that we can bask in Your grace.
Holy Spirit, empower us to resist the devil, so he will flee from us.
Abide with us today Lord Jesus, and protect us from the attacks of thee evil one.
In the mighty and Holy name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen ![]()
Have a blessed day
