Beloved, I submit to you that there’s no better place to be than under God’s protective wings.
Psalms 61:4 AMP states…
“Let me dwell in Your tent forever; Let me take refuge in the shelter of Your wings. Selah.”
I would like to declare, from my life experiences that:
GOD LOVES US, HIS CREATIONS.
God is faithful.
He is kind, loving, and always honest.
God is a safe refuge.
He protects us from fear and harm.
God cares deeply for those who put their TRUST in Him
God knows our needs, He meets us with our needs and comforts us.
God’s love lasts forever.
He invites us to stay with Him always, even in eternity through our relationship with Jesus Christ.
IN A WORLD THAT IS TREACHEROUS AND SOMEWHAT DANGEROUS.
God is our safe place.
He is like a tender parent,
He covers us with His wings and invites us to stay close in His presence.
GOD’S PROTECTIVE CARE.
He is our refuge.
He is our safe place in every storm.
He shelters us.
Nothing is too big for His strong wings to cover and protect.
He is always near.
We can run to Him anytime, day or night.
He welcomes us.
We are invited to live with Him and never be alone.
Psalms 46:1 AMP encourages us…
“God is our refuge and strength [mighty and impenetrable], A very present and well-proved help in trouble.”
HOW THEN, DO WE RESPOND TO HIS LOVE?
We are to run to God in prayer.
He is our safe place.
We are to spend time with Him.
The closer we are to Him, the more secure we will feel.
We are to Trust Him completely.
We are to let His love calm our heart.
Beloved, find your rest under God’s protective wings.
He will carry you through every seasons of life.
He is where you go when you feel afraid or alone.
Whenever worries comes, you can give it all to God today.
The mere knowledge that God is near help will you face hard days.
Psalms 9:10 AMP reminds us…
“And those who know Your name [who have experienced Your precious mercy] will put their confident trust in You, For You, O LORD, have not abandoned those who seek You. [Ps 42:1]”
I ENCOURAGE EVERYONE READING THIS DEVOTIONAL TO GET TO KNOW GOD INTIMATELY, TRUST HIM SO YOU CAN ALSO BE UNDER HIS PROTECTIVE WINGS.
NOW LET US PRAY
Great and mighty God, thank You Father, for this day in our lives. Glory to Your holy name.
Lord, thank You for being our shelter and refuge and for covering us with Your protective wings at all times.
Lord, Help us to stay close to You every day.
Lord, in Your mercy, Keep us safe in Your love even though we stray away from You.
Holy Spirit, guide us back to You whenever we are distracted or pulled away from You.
Thank You Triune God for allowing us to hide under Your protective wings.
Abide with us at all times, Lord.
In the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen
