Beloved, we are to focus on seeking God’s shield over our lives and His intervention in times of trouble.
In these prayers, we acknowledge that the Lord is our refuge and fortress – the only one able to safeguard us from physical harm, spiritual attack, or any form of evil.
This type of prayers is essential for a healthy Christian life because it teaches us dependence on God’s mighty power and faithfulness;
By crying out to the Lord for deliverance, we cultivate trust and release our fears into His hands.
As we repeatedly ask for and witness His protection, our confidence in God deepens, and our walk is steadied by the peace of knowing we are held in His constant care.
These are prayers to God asking for His covering, our safety, and our rescue from danger or spiritual oppression.
Psalm 27:1 tells us…
“The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?”
NOW LET US PRAY
Heavenly Father, thank You for giving us this beautiful day of life. We glorify Your name.
Lord, I seek Your guidance, wisdom, and clarity regarding the circumstances in my world today.
Jesus, You are my light, my salvation, and the stronghold of my life.
Father, Your Word says that though an army of evildoers surround me, they will stumble and fall.
I ask that You be with me now, Lord Jesus.
Shield me from those seeking to undermine my life and circumstances.
I pray You will hear my cry and have grace upon my life. I have done nothing worthy of my adversaries’ attacks, and I ask that You intervene in my situation.
Please manifest Yourself in my life today and not forsake me.
Teach me Your ways; lead me along the path my life needs to take moving forward.
I pray that I may always dwell in Your eternal house to gaze upon the things of heaven that are from You.
I am Your child forever and I hear Your voice succinctly.
Father, I believe in the goodness of Your eternal love, and l will wait for Your intervention in our circumstances.
As You say, I will be strong, and my heart will take courage. I will wait for You.
Psalm 91:1-2 tells us…
“He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say to the Lord, ‘My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”
Heavenly Father, Thank You for providing me with shelter and a safe place from the troubles around me today.
I thank You for the protection I feel as I begin my day in a lost and hurting world.
I pray, Father, that as today unfolds, You will cover me from the dangers of this life and that You will look upon the world’s wickedness and shield me from its impact.
Father, Your Word tells me that no evil will be able to befall me and that no plague will be able to come near my tent, my life.
Father, please help me understand this and place my trust securely in Your Word.
I pray that Your angels lift me above the circumstances of my life today to guard me and keep me safe.
I pray I will have eyes and ears that are attentive to the things important to You in and around my life, and that I will be ready, willing, and able to be used as an instrument of Your love to the world around me.
Father, thank You for being with me in times of trouble, rescuing me, and showing me the gift of my salvation.
Psalm 18:2 tells us…
“I call upon the name of the Lord, who is worthy to be praised, and I am saved from my enemies.”
Heavenly Father, I now stand in the shadow of the cross, pleading for Your mercy and grace to overwhelm me.
Father, there are moments each day when I need You more than any other time. I know You are with me and not abandon me.
With You beside me, I can overcome any and all challenges that I face?
Help me to avoid letting fear and anger rise and take my mind hostage?
Father, I am reminded of Your Holy Word this morning.
In my distress, I am calling and crying out for Your help. I know that You will help me .
Your Word says You will hear from Your temple.
Holy Spirit, please intervene and help me dispel the thoughts that are not of You. Help me focus on the thoughts that will praise and honor Your name now.
Father, please rescue me from on high and draw me out of the pit of fear and anger I feel in this moment.
Please rescue me from my enemies, those who The Lord lives; blessed be my rock, and exalted be the God of my salvation.
Holy Spirit, thank You for Your abiding presence with us at all times we welcome You
into our lives and we welcome you in our midst.
Abide with each one of us in our going in and going out.
In Jesus’Mighty name, I pray. Amen
