1 John 2:1 AMP tells us…
“My little children (believers, dear ones), I am writing you these things so that you will not sin and violate God’s law. And if anyone sins, we have an ADVOCATE [who will intercede for us] with the Father: Jesus Christ the righteous [the upright, the just One, who conforms to the Father’s will in every way—purpose, thought, and action].”
𝐆𝐎𝐃 𝐢𝐬 𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐄𝐑 (𝐏𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐦 𝟐𝟑:𝟑)
In Psalms 23:3 AMP, we are told that…
“He refreshes and restores my soul (life); He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.”
𝐆𝐎𝐃 𝐢𝐬 𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐅𝐀𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑 (𝐈𝐬𝐚𝐢𝐚𝐡 𝟗:𝟔)
Through Jesus Christ, God is our everlasting Father.
Isaiah 9:6 AMP tells us…
“For to us a Child shall be born, to us a Son shall be given; And the government shall be upon His shoulder, And His name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”
𝐆𝐎𝐃 𝐢𝐬 𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄 (𝟏 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝟒:𝟏𝟔)
One of the most significant character of God is His Love for humanity.
1 John 4:16 AMP tells us…
“We have come to know [by personal observation and experience], and have believed [with deep, consistent faith] the love which God has for us. God is love, and the one who abides in love abides in God, and God abides continually in him.”
𝐆𝐎𝐃 𝐢𝐬 𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐌𝐄𝐃𝐈𝐀𝐓𝐎𝐑 (𝟏 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐲 𝟐:𝟓-𝟔)
In Jesus Christ, God is the mediator between us, sinful beings and a Holy God.
1 Timothy 2:5-6 AMP tells us…
“For there is [only] one God, and [only] one Mediator between God and mankind, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself as a ransom [a substitutionary sacrifice to atone] for all, the testimony given at the right and proper time.”
𝐆𝐎𝐃 𝐢𝐬 𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐎𝐍𝐆𝐇𝐎𝐋𝐃 (𝐍𝐚𝐡𝐮𝐦 𝟏:𝟕)
Because, God is who steadies us in the midst of trouble, He is our stronghold.
Nahum 1:7 AMP tells us…
“The Lord is good, A strength and stronghold in the day of trouble; He knows [He recognizes, cares for, and understands fully] those who take refuge and trust in Him.”
