Beloved, God desires to work in and through us who are believers in Christ.
Philippians 2:12 AMP tells us..
“So then, my dear ones, just as you have always obeyed [my instructions with enthusiasm], not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence, continue to work out your salvation [that is, cultivate it, bring it to full effect, actively pursue spiritual maturity] with awe-inspired fear and trembling [using serious caution and critical self-evaluation to avoid anything that might offend God or discredit the name of Christ].”
NOW LET US PRAY
Great and mighty God, thank You Lord for bringing us to this week.
Lord God, we commit this day into your hands. We pray that You will be honored and glorified in our lives.
Father, You created all things and by your power all things are held together.
When we look up we see such beauty, and when we look down we see such intricacy of design and order that our hearts are filled with worship.
You created us to love and serve You, thank You.
We pray that our lives might be characterized by obedience.
So often we end up allowing our mouths to speak before we think of what we’re saying.

Help us Father to have control over our tongues.
Help us to think before we speak.
Make us aware of when we need to keep silent and then help us to be silent.
We want to be more like You. Full of wisdom and loving-kindness to those around us.
We want people to see testimonies to you in our lives.
Father, we long to hear the words ‘Well done, good and faithful servant.’
It is You who gives me the will and ability to act according to Your purposes. We pray that You will make us sensitive to Your Holy Spirit.
Help us discern and to be aware of when You are trying to tell us something.
Forgive us for the times when we have complained about doing something. Help us to seize those moments and turn them round and learn self-control.
Help us to be disciplined in our lives.
We pray that our lives will be ones that holds out the Word of Life to those around us.
Use us Father that we might tell others about You.
Bring people across our paths and give us the words to say to them to tell them about You, Lord.
We pray that You, Lord Jesus will abide with us as we abide in You.
We pray all this in Jesus’ mighty Name, Amen ![]()
Have a blessed day ![]()
