~ A SUNDAY PRAISE AND WORSHIP.
One of the things that I really enjoyed growing up in an Anglican Church were the hymns in the ANGLICAN HYMNAL.
My father was a well known organist at the cathedral church in our hometown for quite a while. Singing hymns was a family affair for us.
One of such hymn of praise is a hymn written by Joachim Neander, in 1680 A.D.
The title of the hymn for our sing, reading, meditation and praise is:
PRAISE TO THE LORD, THE ALMIGHTY, THE KING OF CREATION!
1st STANZA
Praise to the LORD, the Almighty, the King of creation!
O my soul, praise Him, for He is thy health and salvation.
All ye who hear, now to His temple draw near:
join me in glad adoration!
2nd STANZA
Praise to the LORD, who o’er all things so wondrously reigneth,
shelters thee under His wings, yea, so gently sustaineth!
Hast thou not seen – how thy desires e’er have been
granted in what He ordaineth?
3rd STANZA
Praise to the LORD, who with marvelous wisdom hath made thee,
decked thee with health, & with loving hand guided & stayed thee.
How oft in grief – hath not He brought thee relief,
spreading His wings for to shade thee!
4th STANZA
Praise to the LORD, who doth prosper thy works and defend thee;
surely His goodness and mercy here daily attend thee.
Ponder anew – what the Almighty can do,
if with His love He befriend thee.
5th STANZA
Praise to the LORD, O let all that is in me adore Him!
All that hath life and breath, come now with praises before Him!
Let the amen – sound from His people again:
gladly forever adore Him!

NOW LET US PRAY
Lord, we pray that You would accept or praises and adoration.
Lord, Help our minds to focus on You throughout our days.
Let me speak praises to You.
It is my greatest honor to praise You.
Help us to meditate on these words of praise.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ I pray. Amen
Have a blessed day
