𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐔𝐬 𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐄𝐯𝐢𝐥 𝐎𝐧𝐞
Beloved, the enemy of our souls is relentless in his attacks against us. The one sure way for us to get protection from the attacks of the evil one, Satan himself is ONLY through God’s power and faithfulness.
2 Thessalonians 3:3 AMP tells us…
“But the Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen you [setting you on a firm foundation] and will protect and guard you from the evil one.”
𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐬 𝐚 𝐖𝐚𝐲 𝐎𝐮𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧
Believers in Jesus Christ are targeted with temptations to make us stumble in our Christian walk. However, God promises to provide a way of escape out of temptation.
1 Corinthians 10:13, 16 AMP tells us..
“No temptation [regardless of its source] has overtaken or enticed you that is not common to human experience [nor is any temptation unusual or beyond human resistance];
but God is faithful [to His word—He is compassionate and trustworthy], and He will not let you be tempted beyond your ability [to resist], but along with the temptation He [has in the past and is now and] will [always] provide the way out as well, so that you will be able to endure it [without yielding, and will overcome temptation with joy].
Is the cup of blessing which we bless [at the Lord’s Supper] not a sharing in the blood of Christ? [Indeed it is.] Is the bread which we break not a sharing in the body of Christ? [Indeed it is.]”
𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐖𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐔𝐬
When our hearts burn with pain and challenges of life, God promises to comfort us as a mother comforts her child.
Isaiah 66:13 AMP
“As one whom his mother comforts, so I will comfort you; And you will be comforted in Jerusalem.”
𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐒𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐔𝐬 𝐖𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞
Because of His great love and delight towards us, God promises to surround us with songs of deliverance.
Psalms 32:7 AMP tells us…
“You are my hiding place; You, Lord, protect me from trouble; You surround me with songs and shouts of deliverance.”
𝐁𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐉𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐬 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐕𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡
Through the finished work and resurrection of Jesus Christ, believers in Christ have victory over death, because Jesus defeated death. Hallelujah!
1 Corinthians 15:54 AMP says…
“And when this perishable puts on the imperishable, and this mortal puts on immortality, then the Scripture will be fulfilled that says, “Death is swallowed up in victory (vanquished forever).”
Also, Isaiah 25:8 AMP declares…
“He will swallow up death [and abolish it] for all time. And the Lord God will wipe away tears from all faces, And He will take away the disgrace of His people from all the earth; For the Lord has spoken.
NOW LET US PRAY
Gracious God, Father we glorify Your Holy Name for giving us this day in life.
Thank You Lord for all your promises towards us.
Thank you for Your power protecting us from the evil one. Your name is lifted up!
Thank You for providing a way out of any temptation that confronts us.
Thank You for providing comfort to us when our hearts burn.
Thank You for surrounding us with songs of deliverance.
Jesus Christ, we glorify You for giving us victory over death.
Holy Spirit, thank You for Your abiding presence with us at all times we welcome You
into our lives and we welcome you in our midst.
Abide with each one of us in our going in and going out.
