Beloved, at any given point in our lives, we all have person(s), situations, or circumstances that represent “Goliath” . That Something which would not leave us alone to live freely as God wants us.
Goliath is anything that bullies, oppresses and harass us, preventing us to live our lives as God created us to live.
Any strongholds that the enemy has erected against our lives.
In 1 Samuel 17:45, we read about taking on Goliath, a giant in the Philistine army, who had been tormenting, bullying and intimidating the armies of Israel.
”Then David said to the Philistine, “You come to me with a sword, a spear, and a javelin, but I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have taunted. This day the Lord will hand you over to me, and I will strike you down and cut off your head. And I will give the corpses of the army of the Philistines this day to the birds of the sky and the wild beasts of the earth, so that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel, and that this entire assembly may know that the Lord does not save with the sword or with the spear; for the battle is the Lord’s and He will hand you over to us.” ~ 1 Samuel 17:45-47 AMP
David’s BOLD key phrase was:

Like David, we too can confront any Goliath in our lives with the same boldness. Approach the Goliath in your life with the name and might of The Most High God.

Most Holy and mighty God,
How majestic is your name in all the earth.
There is no one like You my Lord and God, You are unique in ALL Your way. Mighty are You my God, my defender and redeemer.
Thank You for letting me see another day in life.
Thank You for fighting my battles, seen and unseen.
Father, I pray that You arm me with Your power and might, in my thoughts and actions,
Help me to I confront the Goliaths in my life in Your mighty name like David.
Help me to not fear or be intimidated as I fight my Goliaths as I depend on You to help me. My help comes ONLY from you.
You Lord, have been my keeper, sustainer and my defense throughout my life. All glory to Your Holy name.
Holy Spirit, abide with each one of us in our going in and going out throughout this today.
In Jesus’Mighty name, I pray. Amen
