Today is the second day, as we go through this week’s daily devotionals, to explore what pleases God in the life of the believer in Christ.
As a reminder, the intent is that we will all have some understanding of what pleases God so that we can align our lives to His desires with the help of His Holy Spirit.
LET US CONTINUE TO EXPLORE WHAT PLEASES GOD
Righteousness and justice bring delight to the Lord’s heart.
Proverbs 21:3 AMP tells us…
“To do righteousness and justice Is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice [for wrongs repeatedly committed].”
Doing good and sharing with others pleases God greatly.
Hebrews 13:16 AMP encourages…
“Do not neglect to do good, to contribute [to the needy of the church as an expression of fellowship], for such sacrifices are always pleasing to God.”
The Lord loves honesty and truth in every dealing.
Proverbs 11:1 AMP…
“A false balance and dishonest business practices are extremely offensive to the Lord, But an accurate scale is His delight.”
God is pleased with those who fear and trust Him. –
Psalms 147:11 AMP declares that…
“The Lord favors those who fear and worship Him [with awe-inspired reverence and obedience], Those who wait for His mercy and lovingkindness.
Also, Psalms 145:20 AMP tells us…
“The Lord keeps all who love Him, But all the wicked He will destroy.”
Walking in truth brings the Father great joy and pleasure.
3 John 1:4 AMP declares.
“I have no greater joy than this, to hear that my [spiritual] children are living [their lives] in the truth.”

NOW LET US PRAY
Gracious God, thank You for Your Grace and Mercy on us.
Father, thank You for yet another day of life.
Holy Spirit, empower us to seek to know what pleases You in Your Word.
Your Word says those who seek You will find You.
Help us dear Lord to identify Your desires and adjust our lives to align with Your will.
Abide with us at all times Lord Jesus.
In Jesus Christ’s most precious name I pray. Amen ![]()
Have a blessed day ![]()
