Let Us Grab The Promised Hope – By Iwalola(Lola) Ademodi

God in His loving presence has given us the promised HOPE in His Word.

Beloved, I would like to encourage each one of us to identify God’s promises in the Bible and meditate on them.

They are the expression on God’s faithfulness for every believer in Christ especially when life is hard for us or our loved ones.

These are the times we run to our loving God as we remember His promises.

We who have run for our very lives to God have every reason to grab the promised hope with both hands and never let go.

God’s promises are unbreakable spiritual lifeline, reaching past all appearances and bringing us right to the very presence of God where Jesus, running on ahead of us, has taken up his permanent post as high priest for us, in the order of Melchizedek.

HEBREWS 6:18-20 MSG

“Sometimes we toil because we don’t trust God.

We slave away, killing ourselves, destroying our health, because we simply don’t have faith that the Lord will take care of us.

In our minds, we draw up a blueprint for fixing a particular situation, and then we work that plan. But in the process of doing so, we almost work ourselves into an early grave.”

Beloved God will take care of us, just as He promised.

We must TRUST and put our hopes in HIM

Read those words again: God will take care of you. Sure, we have our part to do—but do not add stress worrying over how, when, or where He’ll come through.

We should just rest in the knowledge that He will.

We have this promise from His Word!

Jesus, our great High Priest, has gone ahead of us to level every mountain before us.

He has made provision for literally everything we need.

Knowing we have an advocate like that should bring great peace!

NOW LET US PRAY

Most High God, thank You for this day that You have blessed us with.

Lord, help us to remember that we need to trust You with every aspect of my life, including my daily provision.

My soul can rest when I place my trust in You. Today I choose to do just that!

Father, thank You for meeting us at the point of our every need.

Lord Jesus, abide with us at all times, as we abide in You.

I pray these in the mighty and Holy name of Jesus Christ. Amen 🙏🏾

Have a blessed day and weekend ❤️
