In a world where we are bombarded with confusing information from all around us, it is a given for any one of us to need help to navigate through βthe wilderness β of life. It is a jungle out there!
Beloved, I submit to you that it is Godβs desire to lead, guide and direct His children in our walk with Him.
There are several promises and prayers in Godβs Word about His eagerness to guide us.
Let us take a look at some of these verses.
βEstablish my footsteps in [the way of] Your word; Do not let any human weakness have power over me [causing me to be separated from You].β – Psalms 119:133 AMP
βI will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you [who are willing to learn] with My eye upon you.β – Psalms 32:8 AMP
God also promised divine guidanceβ¦
βYour ears will hear a word behind you, βThis is the way, walk in it,β whenever you turn to the right or to the left.β- Isaiah 30:21 AMP
βThus says the LORD who made the earth, the LORD who formed it to establish itβthe LORD is His name, βCall to Me and I will answer you, and tell you [and even show you] great and mighty things, [things which have been confined and hidden], which you do not know and understand and cannot distinguish.ββ
Jeremiah 33:2-3 AMP
Whenever we are lost for ideas and directions in any situation , we should ask God for divine guidance in prayer.
Beloved, I submit to you that God our creator knows the way through the wilderness of life: after all, He is all knowing, and all we have to do is to follow Him!
We can followβ¦
Through the knowledge of the Word of God
Through diligent in prayers and spending time in Godβs presence.
Through obedience to Him
Through listening to Him! Yes, we should cultivate the art and habit of listening to Him.
God can use anything or anyone He created, as instruments in His holy hands to guide and direct those who belong to Him into the center of His will, and the path that they should go in life.
But we must believe and trust that God has the power to guide, lead and direct us in the way that we should go as we lean on Him to do so.

Most SOVEREIGN God, thank You for this beautiful day .
Father, I come into Your presence seeking Your divine guidance and asking that You to guide, lead and direct me into all that you created me to be for Your glory.
Holy Spirit, lead me to truths in Your Word to guide me in every situation that I find myself.
Lord, in Your power, destroy any and all obstacles that the enemy and his cohorts throw at me along my life journey.
Thank You for shedding Your glorious light into my path and for Your divine guidance.
Align our lives with Your will oh Lord.
Abide with us today and at all times Lord Jesus.
