Beloved, I submit to you, from personal experience that The Holy Spirit is the engine of the Christian life, guiding and empowering us to do what we cannot do on our own.
It is impossible to walk the Christian walk without the Holy Spirit. Any attempt to do so leads to a miserable life as a Christian.
Even Jesus Christ (God in flesh) depended on the Holy Spirit when He walked on this earth.
The Spirit of the living God was Jesusβ ministry partner. How much more are we to depend on Him, if we are to be fulfilled in Christ?

In His love for His followers, Jesus promised us the gift of a helper, the Holy Spirit right before he left this earth.
Jesus said in John 14: 16- 19 AMP tells usβ¦
βAnd I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper (Comforter, Advocate, IntercessorβCounselor, Strengthener, Standby), to be with you forever,
the Spirit of Truth, whom the world cannot receive [and take to its heart] because it does not see Him or know Him,
but you know Him because He (the Holy Spirit) remains with you continually and will be in you. βI will not leave you as orphans [comfortless, bereaved, and helpless]; I will come [back] to you.
After a little while the world will no longer see Me, but you will see Me; because I live, you will live also.β
The Holy Spirit teaches us and reminds us of all the things Jesus said.
As we read Godβs Word, we can trust the Holy Spirit to help us understand what we are reading.
Not only that, but we can also expect the Holy Spirit to bring to our remembrance the truth about who God is, who we are, what God promises, what God has done, and what God will do.
He also helps us when we feel weak and inadequate, especially in our prayer lives when our understanding and our spoken language feels limited. He strengthens us in our weakness.
Personally, when I pray, I have learned to spend time worshiping God and welcoming the Holy Spirit to come help me pray according to Godβs will.

The Holy Spirit guides us. He produces in us the very nature of Christ. As born again believers in Christ, we are no longer slaves to sin and death, but we are now alive to the Holy Spirit and to Godβs Kingdom.
When we make a daily choice to seek the Holy Spirit and remain attentive to His leading, we develop very little tolerance for sin, but rather, we grow in the fruit of the Spirit over time.
Galatians 5:16 AMP tells usβ¦
βBut I say, walk habitually in the [Holy] Spirit [seek Him and be responsive to His guidance], and then you will certainly not carry out the desire of the sinful nature [which responds impulsively without regard for God and His precepts].β

The Holy Spirit renews us. He allows us to walk in newness of life each day because of what Jesus Christ did for us on the cross.
Titus 3:5 AMP tells usβ¦
βHe saved us, not because of any works of righteousness that we have done, but because of His own compassion and mercy, by the cleansing of the new birth (spiritual transformation, regeneration) and renewing by the Holy Spirit,β
This renewing work begins the moment we accept Jesus as our Lord and Saviour, but it also continues each day as we respond to the Holy Spiritβs work in our lives.

Our loving God, thank You for the plan of salvation, through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.
Thank You Lord, for the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Thank You Holy Spirit for Your help, guidance and leadership throughout our Christian walk.
Lord, we need You. Abide with us at all times.
