When I share my faith and believe in the Word of God with others, and the fact that whatever God says in His Word (Bible) is trustworthy. I sometimes get a stare, or a look that says “how can you be so sure”
Through prophet Isaiah, God says in Isaiah 55: 10-11,
”For as the rain and snow come down from heaven, And do not return there without watering the earth, Making it bear and sprout, And providing seed to the sower and bread to the eater, So will My word be which goes out of My mouth; It will not return to Me void (useless, without result), Without accomplishing what I desire, And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.“
The metaphor God used for His Word is that it’s like rain on the ground which serves it purposes of watering the earth. God’s Word will not return to Him without manifesting the purpose that God meant for it. I believe this because I have experienced the manifestation of God’s Word in my life, my children’s lives and in family. God is faithful to His Word.
LET US PRAY:
Faithful God, thank You for Your Word. Help us to trust in Your Word and the manifestation in our lives. Lord, be glorified in our lives because of Your living Word through us. In Jesus’ mighty name I pray. Amen
