Beloved, the Bible teaches that believers need the “mind of Christ” to discern spiritual truths, live according to God’s will, and perceive the world through a Gospel-focused lens, not just in times of trial but in all of life, because the Holy Spirit provides believers with this capacity to have the mind of Christ as we surrender our will to His will.

βFor who has known the mind and purposes of the Lord, so as to instruct Him? But we have the mind of Christ [to be guided by His thoughts and purposes].β

Great and Mighty God, the Holy one of Israel, thank You for the gift of salvation in Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.
Father, I pray that the mind that was in Christ Jesus also be in us.
Holy Spirit, Give us the mind of Christ and help us to think clearly, calmly, and righteously.
Fill our minds with understanding, wisdom, love, and peace.
Lord Jesus, Take away from our minds all thoughts of fear, dread, evil, sin, retaliation, selfishness, criticism, lies or any other thoughts that displeases You.
Lord, Help us not to waste our time on thoughts that have no purpose and do nothing to build up our lives.
Make us whole in our minds so we can think Christlike thoughts that glorify You.
