~ 𝐄𝐒𝐏𝐄𝐂𝐈𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐘 𝐎𝐍 𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐃 𝐃𝐀𝐘𝐒.

The Bible says we find strength on hard days by relying on God, who is described as a refuge, a shield, and a source of strength in times of trouble.

The Psalmist declares in Psalms 46:1 AMP

“God is our refuge and strength [mighty and impenetrable], A very present and well-proved help in trouble.”

Beloved, whenever we are faced with hard days,

We are to trust in:

God’s power to deliver us from hard things.

God’s constant presence with us no matter what

God’s ability to make us strong in our weakness.

God’s faithfulness to His promises.

Specific scriptures encourage us to “be strong and courageous,” because God goes with us and will help us.

Personally, on my hard days, I RUN to the shelter of God on in prayers, and stay laser focused and meditating on His promises.

When we depend on Him to help us, the Holy Spirit who is the great comforter will show up to lead, guide and direct us to the truths in the Word of God to encourage and comfort us through our trying times.

Most of these encouraging truths are found in God’s promises.

God’s promises are the foundation of HOPE for us believers.

Here are some promises for your hard days:

Isaiah 40:29 AMP tells us…

“He gives strength to the weary, And to him who has no might He increases power.”

Isaiah 43:2-3 AMP tells us…

“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you.

When you walk through fire, you will not be scorched, Nor will the flame burn you.

“For I am the Lord your God, The Holy One of Israel, your Savior; I have given Egypt [to the Babylonians] as your ransom, Cush (ancient Ethiopia) and Seba [its province] in exchange for you.”

Isaiah 40:31 AMP tells us…

“But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] Will gain new strength and renew their power; They will lift up their wings [and rise up close to God] like eagles [rising toward the sun]; They will run and not become weary, They will walk and not grow tired. [Please also read Hebrews 12:1-3]”

Isaiah 41:10 AMP tells us…

“‘Do not fear [anything], for I am with you; Do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, be assured I will help you; I will certainly take hold of you with My righteous right hand [a hand of justice, of power, of victory, of salvation].’ [Read Acts 18:10]”

Exodus 15:1-3 AMP tells us

“Then Moses and the children of Israel sang this song to the Lord, singing, “I will sing to the Lord, for He has triumphed gloriously; The horse and its rider He has thrown into the sea.

“The Lord is my strength and my song, And He has become my salvation; This is my God, and I will praise Him; My father’s God, and I will exalt Him. “The Lord is a warrior; The Lord is His name.”

Philippians 4:13 AMP tells us…

“I can do all things [which He has called me to do] through Him who strengthens and empowers me [to fulfill His purpose—I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency;

I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him who infuses me with inner strength and confident peace.]”

Psalms 27:1 AMP tells us…

“The Lord is my light and my salvation— Whom shall I fear?

The Lord is the refuge and fortress of my life— Whom shall I dread?”

“Lord is my strength and my [impenetrable] shield; My heart trusts [with unwavering confidence] in Him, and I am helped;

Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, And with my song I shall thank Him and praise Him.”

Psalms 28:7 AMP tells us…

“The Lord is my strength and my [impenetrable] shield; My heart trusts [with unwavering confidence] in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, And with my song I shall thank Him and praise Him.”

Jesus said in John 16:33 AMP…

“I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace. In the world you have tribulation and distress and suffering, but be courageous [be confident, be undaunted, be filled with joy]; I have overcome the world.” [My conquest is accomplished, My victory abiding.]”

2 Corinthians 4:18 AMP tells us

“So we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are unseen; for the things which are visible are temporal [just brief and fleeting], but the things which are invisible are everlasting and imperishable.”

𝐍𝐎𝐖 𝐋𝐄𝐓 𝐔𝐒 𝐏𝐑𝐀𝐘

Great and mighty God, we come bearing praise and thanksgiving to Your Holy name.

Thank You, Lord for Your living Word.

Thank You for Your promises, that gives us strength and hope during hard days .

Holy Spirit, thank You for Your presence with us even as we focus on You for help in times of need.

Lord, we give You glory and adoration for Your faithfulness to all Your promises.

Abide with us at all times Lord Jesus.
