Beloved, I humbly submit to you that we all need God’s wisdom to navigate the terrains of this treacherous journey, called life.
God being the sovereign creator of the world, in His omnipotence, knows the best way for things to work in our favor. Therefore, we should seek His wisdom.
Throughout the book of Proverbs, Solomon encourages us to “get wisdom” (Proverbs 4:5).
He says those who get wisdom love life (Proverbs 19:8);
That it is better to get wisdom than gold (Proverbs 16:16); and
That those who get wisdom find life and receive favor from the Lord. (Proverbs 8:32-35)
The Bible also says that wisdom comes from God, and that it’s a gift that allows people to understand life from God’s perspective.
Life is made of one choice or decision after another.
As believers in Christ, it is important that we seek divine wisdom for life’s decisions if we are to walk according to God’s will.
God invites us just to ASK Him for His wisdom, and He will generously give us. This is how we depend on Him. The manifestation of His wisdom in our life is the path to righteousness.
James 1:5 AMP encourages us that;
“If any of you lacks wisdom [to guide him through a decision or circumstance], he is to ask of [our benevolent] God, who gives to everyone generously and without rebuke or blame, and it will be given to him., and it will be given to him.“
NOW LET US PRAY
All wise God, thank You for loving us enough to make Your divine wisdom available to us when we ask. All glory and adoration belong to You.
Holy Spirit, we need Your wisdom in any and all decisions that we have to make throughout our journey here on earth. We depend on You to bless us with divine wisdom.
Lord, in Your mercy, give us the mind of Christ.
Abide with us at all times, Holy Spirit.
