The Word of God tells us in Ephesians 3:16-17;
May He (God) grant you out of the riches of His glory, to be strengthened and spiritually energized with power through His Spirit in your inner self, [indwelling your innermost being and personality], so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through your faith. And may you, having been [deeply] rooted and [securely] grounded in love.
Beloved, when we have no strength of our own, the Spirit of God releases power in us. In our innermost beings, where God dwells with us, he releases grace so that we may overcome.
Jesus has already overcome the world, and it is by his power that we do the same, not by our own strength.
When we are depleted, God has more than enough to replenish us. He never runs dry, and he never grows weary.
LET US PRAY
Gracious Father, I pray that we find ourselves empowered by Your Spirit in our weakness, for there is nothing that You can not do! I pray that we continually turn toward You, Lord, praying in any and all circumstances. There is always more in You: more power, more wisdom, more rest, more peace, more joy, more love.
Your power is at work within us to transform and strengthen us.
So Lord Jesus, we come to your overflowing fountain of mercy today to drink deeply of Your love. Fill us up, Lord, for we have nothing on our own. We rely on your Spirit to guide us, strengthen us, and lift us up. You are the one that we rely on. In Jesus’ mighty name, I pray. Amen
