~ HE IS ALWAYS WITH US
When I look around us, especially at fellow believers who are always worrying about one thing or another about their care or needs being met. I respond by praying for them that they will come to the knowledge and understanding of how much God cares for those who believe in Him through faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
Such worry or insecurity is based on 2 things:
1. Not knowing or understanding the promises of God in regards to His divine providence.
2. Unbelief in the Word of God or unbelief in God Himself who loves us so much to meet our every needs.
In Matthew 6:25-34 AMP, we are given these promises and assurances…
Therefore I tell you, stop being worried or anxious (perpetually uneasy, distracted) about your life, as to what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, as to what you will wear. Is life not more than food, and the body more than clothing?
Look at the birds of the air; they neither sow [seed]nor reap [the harvest] nor gather [the crops]into barns, and yet your heavenly Father keeps feeding them.
Are you not worth much more than they? And who of you by worrying can add one hour to [the length of]his life?
And why are you worried about clothes? See how the lilies and wildflowers of the field grow; they do not labor nor do they spin [wool to make clothing], yet I say to you that not even Solomon in all his glory and splendor dressed himself like one of these.
But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which is alive and green today and tomorrow is [cut and] thrown [as fuel] into the furnace, will He not much more clothe you?
You of little faith! Therefore, do not worry or be anxious (perpetually uneasy, distracted), saying, ‘What are we going to eat?’ or ‘What are we going to drink?’ or ‘What are we going to wear?’
For the [pagan] Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; [but do not worry,] for your heavenly Father knows that you need them.
But first and most importantly seek (aim at, strive after) His kingdom and His righteousness [His way of doing and being right—the attitude and character of God], and all these things will be given to you also.
So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”
Also, God tells us that He is ALWAYS with us. I submit to you that a lot of worrying and anxieties would be resolved if only we believed this truth.
We are told in Matthew 28:18, 20 AMP that “Jesus came up and said to them, “All authority (all power of absolute rule) in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. teaching them to observe everything that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always [remaining with you perpetually—regardless of circumstance, and on every occasion], even to the end of the age.””
Joshua 1:9 AMP tells us “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not be terrified or dismayed (intimidated), for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
NOW LET US PRAY
Our loving God, thank You for loving us so much that You promised to meet our every needs and take care of us. Father, forgive us for worrying unnecessarily about our needs. Help us to develop our faith enough to trust You that You will meet our needs as we believe You. You are so good at blessing us with Your presence at all times according to Your promise to be present with us always.
In Your presence, there is goodness of joy. Lord, we honor You and glorify You for being such a loving Father to us, who believe in Your promises. We bless Your Holy name for all that You are to us.
In Jesus’ mighty name, I pray. Amen
Have a blessed day
