REWARDS OF WALKING BY FAITH
Last but not the least of our “WALKING BY FAITH SERIES”, we will explore the Rewards of Walking By Faith.
𝘿𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝘼𝙥𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙫𝙖𝙡 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙍𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙚𝙤𝙪𝙨𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨.
Walking by faith pleases God and leads to righteousness, as seen in Abraham, whose faith was counted as righteousness.
Hebrews 11:6 AMP tells us that;
”But without faith it is impossible to [walk with God and] please Him, for whoever comes [near] to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He rewards those who [earnestly and diligently] seek Him.”
Hebrews 11:8-9 AMP tells us;
”By faith Abraham, when he was called [by God], obeyed by going to a place which he was to receive as an inheritance; and he went, not knowing where he was going. By faith he lived as a foreigner in the promised land, as in a strange land, living in tents [as nomads] with Isaac and Jacob, who were fellow heirs of the same promise. [Gen 12:1-8]”
𝙎𝙪𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙡 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙫𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣
Faith unlocks God’s provision, ensuring our needs—spiritual, physical, and emotional—are met according to God’s abundance.
Philippians 4:19 AMP promised
”And my God will liberally supply (fill until full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”
𝙑𝙞𝙘𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙮 𝙊𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙇𝙞𝙛𝙚’𝙨 𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙚𝙨
Faith empowers us to overcome trials, challenges, and opposition, granting us victory through Christ.
1 John 5:4 AMP reminds us;
”For everyone born of God is victorious and overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has conquered and overcome the world—our [continuing, persistent] faith [in Jesus the Son of God].”
𝘿𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙂𝙪𝙞𝙙𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙩𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣.
Faith leads to God’s guidance, ensuring we walk in His perfect will and experience divine protection.
Proverbs 3:5-6 AMP encourages;
“Trust in and rely confidently on the Lord with all your heart And do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know and acknowledge and recognize Him, And He will make your paths straight and smooth [removing obstacles that block your way].”
𝙈𝙞𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙪𝙡𝙤𝙪𝙨 𝘽𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙠𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝𝙨
Faith releases the miraculous, enabling breakthroughs in impossible situations in our lives as we trust in God’s power.
In Mark 9:23 AMP, Jesus asserted
”Jesus said to him, “[You say to Me,] ‘If You can?’ All things are possible for the one who believes and trusts [in Me]!”
𝙋𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙅𝙤𝙮 𝙞𝙣 𝙀𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝙎𝙞𝙩𝙪𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣
Faith brings inner peace and joy, allowing us to trust God fully, even in difficulties.
Romans 15:13 AMP prayed
”May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing [through the experience of your faith] that by the power of the Holy Spirit you will abound in hope and overflow with confidence in His promises.”
𝙀𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙇𝙞𝙛𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙡𝙮 𝙍𝙚𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙
Faith in Christ secures salvation, eternal life, and an eternal reward in heaven.
Ephesians 2:8 AMP tells us;
”For it is by grace [God’s remarkable compassion and favor drawing you to Christ] that you have been saved [actually delivered from judgment and given eternal life] through faith.
And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [not through your own effort], but it is the [undeserved, gracious] gift of God;”
On a final note, every believer in Christ must remember that;
Walking by faith is a lifelong journey of trust, obedience, and perseverance.
It pleases God, brings divine blessings, and secures eternal rewards.
Though challenges arise, faith sustains us.
As we trust His promises, follow His guidance, and remain steadfast, our lives will glorify Him and inspire others to walk by faith as well.
NOW LET US PRAY
Heavenly Father, I pray that You , Lord would strengthen our faith to trust, obey, and persevere.
Jesus, help us walk by faith daily, bringing glory to You.
Guide our steps and deepen our dependence on You as we walk by faith.
Lord, we rely on You, to lead, guide, and direct us in our journey of walking by faith.
In Jesus’ mighty name, I pray. Amen
