~ EVERYTHING IS PLANNED BY GOD
Beloved, if we are to consider the truths in the Word of God, He is a God who planned all creation to the minute details, including the existence of each one of us.
Psalms 139:1-3 AMP tells us “O Lord, you have searched me [thoroughly] and have known me. You know when I sit down and when I rise up [my entire life, everything I do]; You understand my thought from afar. You scrutinize my path and my lying down, And You are intimately acquainted with all my ways.”
David said to God in Psalm 31:15, “My times are in your hand.”
Job confessed to God that each man’s “days are determined; you have decreed the number of his months and have set limits he cannot exceed” (Job 14:5, NIV). And Paul declared that even for nations, God “marked out their appointed times in history” (Acts 17:26, NIV).
God has sovereignly determined how long each of us will live. This in itself is a glorious truth.
Our times are in God’s hand. In Psalm 139:16, David had in mind a different meaning—that all the experiences of his life, day by day, were written down in God’s book before he was even born. For all of us, this truth refers not simply to God’s prior knowledge of what will occur in our lives but also to His plan for our lives.
It has been well said that one of the most inspiring of truths is that God has a distinct plan for each of us in sending us into this world. This plan embraces not only His original creation of us but also our family and the social setting into which we were born.
It includes all the ups and downs of life, all the seemingly chance or random happenings, and all the sudden and unexpected turns of events, both good and bad, that occur in our lives. All these situations and circumstances, though they may appear as only happenstance, were written in God’s book before one of them came to be.
God created each of us uniquely to fulfill the plan He has ordained for us. Our disabilities as well as our abilities all fit into that plan.
Did He create you with an incurable speech impediment? He did so because that particular infirmity uniquely fits you for the life He has planned for you. His plan for you and His creation of you were consistent.
He equipped you to fulfill His specific purpose for you. God’s plan for us fully embraces that which He wants us to be and do. God sovereignly determines our respective functions in the body of Christ and gives us the corresponding spiritual gifts with which to perform those functions.
Romans 12:4-6 tells us “For just as in one [physical] body we have many parts, and these parts do not all have the same function or special use, so we, who are many, are [nevertheless just] one body in Christ, and individually [we are] parts one of another [mutually dependent on each other].”
Our spiritual gifts are generally consistent with the physical and mental abilities as well as the temperaments with which God cre- ated us.
God doesn’t look us over on the day we accept Christ and say, “Let’s see, what spiritual gifts shall I give you?” No, God has planned our days before even one of them came to be.
As He said to Jeremiah, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you’ (Jeremiah 1:5).
Someone has estimated that as many as 80 percent of our workforce are dissatisfied with the jobs they’re in. For many of us, that may be due to a reluctance to be what God planned for us to be. But just as we must trust God for who we are, we must trust Him also for what we are, whether an engineer or a missionary, a homemaker or a nurse.

NOW LET US PRAY
Sovereign God, You are an amazing creator. Thank You for the masterpiece work that you have created in all humanity and each one of us individually. You made each one of us unique in all that You have impacted in us. Help us to submit to Your sovereignty and plans for us. Help us to recognize that Your plan for us is perfect because You are our creator.
Lord, abide with us and protect us throughout the day. In Jesus’ mighty name I have prayed. Amen
Have a blessed day
