~ WITH JESUS CHRIST, WE ARE ALWAYS VICTORIOUS @everyone
Yes, You read it right! With Jesus Christ, believers are ALWAYS victorious.
If you don’t believe me, here is what the Word of God says in
1 John 5:4 -5:
1 John 5:4-5 AMP tells us:
For everyone born of God is VICTORIOUS and OVERCOMES the world;
and this is the VICTORY that has conquered and overcome the world—
our [continuing, persistent] faith [in Jesus the Son of God].
Who is the one who is victorious and overcomes the world?
It is the one who believes and recognizes the fact that Jesus is the Son of God.
This is He who came through water and blood [His baptism and death], Jesus Christ—not by the water only, but by the water and the blood.
It is the [Holy] Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth. [He is the essence and origin of truth itself.]
the Spirit and the water and the blood; and these three are in agreement [their testimony is perfectly consistent].”
There is a mind-set every believer must have.
It is the mind-set that we are always victorious.
No matter what the circumstances say or look currently, you must know that we always be victorious .
The Bible specifically says we are the head and not the tail, above only and not beneath.
We must never operate with a defeated attitude.
We must understand that triumph and victory are ours and they are possible in every situation we face.
The truth is that this is only possible when we are in Christ.
Outside Christ is a different thing. But once you believe and are in Christ, you always win.
2 Corinthians_2:14 tells us:
”But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us spreads and makes evident everywhere the sweet fragrance of the knowledge of Him.”
We must settle it in our minds and hearts, In Christ, we always triumph. Not sometimes, but ALWAYS.
Tell yourself : because I am a believer in Christ, “I operate from a position of victory over any situation, circumstance or obstacle that come against me”
When we look at any situation based on our own ability or limits, we must understand that we will always fall short.
However, because of the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross, we can live our life in an advantageous position.
The enemy of our soul, Satan, may whisper his lies about our weaknesses.
Even when other people lie about us, or tear us down with their mouths and behavior because of envy or jealousy, we must remember who we are already victorious in Christ Jesus.
When our fight is against sickness or the devil attacking our finances, we must understand that we have the advantage because we are in Christ.
You must be confident of your new position in Christ, where our victory and our triumph is guaranteed.
2 Corinthians 5:17 AMP tells us:
Therefore if anyone is in Christ [that is, grafted in, joined to Him by faith in Him as Savior], he is a new creature [reborn and renewed by the Holy Spirit];
the old things [the previous moral and spiritual condition] have passed away. Behold, new things have come [because spiritual awakening brings a new life].”
We have to win in our mind before our victory becomes a reality.
We must not lose the battle of life in our mind.
We must remember that greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world.
WE MUST DEVELOP A VICTORIOUS AND OVERCOMER MENTALITY because of Jesus Christ in us!
NOW LET US PRAY
Lord Jesus, thank You for Your finished work on the cross at Calvary, which gave us everlasting and sure victory that overcomes the world.
Father God, thank you for the gift that is Jesus Christ through whom we are victorious over any situation or circumstances that may come our way.
Holy Spirit, help us to daily walk in this victory because You live in us.
Glory and adoration to Your holy name for the victorious life that You afforded us.
Abide with us throughout the day Lord.
