Beloved, humility and surrender are essential for true spiritual growth and promotion.
Genuine Humility is a mark of spiritual maturity.
When we humble ourselves before God, we acknowledge our limitations and rely on His strength.
Surrendering to God means trusting Him completely, obeying His will, and seeking His face.
Jesus Christ is our perfect example of humility and surrender.
Jesus humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death on the cross, demonstrating the ultimate act of surrender.
Philippiansβ¬ β2β¬:β8β¬ βAMPβ¬β¬ tells about how Jesus humbled Himself
βAfter He was found in [terms of His] outward appearance as a man [for a divinely-appointed time], He humbled Himself [still further] by becoming obedient [to the Father] to the point of death, even death on a cross.β

Jamesβ¬ β4β¬:β10β¬ βAMPβ¬β¬ admonish usβ¦
β Humble yourselves [with an attitude of repentance and insignificance] in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you [He will lift you up, He will give you purpose].β
Luke 14:11 tells usβ¦
β For whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted”
Because of Jesusβ humility, His name is still elevated above ALL names for eternity.

We are to seek God’s Guidance, Pray for wisdom and guidance, seeking God’s will in all aspects of your life.

β If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land”

Humility and surrender bring inner peace and calm, knowing that God is in control.
We are to cultivate Inner Peace, Trusting God’s sovereignty and control, and finding peace in His presence.

β Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit [through factional motives, or strife], but with [an attitude of] humility [being neither arrogant nor self-righteous], regard others as more important than yourselves. Do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others.β

Humility and surrender enable us to pray effectively, seeking God’s face and will.
James 4:6 tells usβ¦
β But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, ‘God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble.'”
This verse highlights that humility is essential for receiving God’s grace, which is necessary for powerful prayer.
Also, Jamesβ¬ β5β¬:β16β¬ βAMPβ¬β¬ admonish us..
β Therefore, confess your sins to one another [your false steps, your offenses], and pray for one another, that you may be healed and restored.
The heartfelt and persistent prayer of a righteous man (believer) is able to accomplish much [when put into action and made effective by Godβit is dynamic and can have tremendous power].β

I invite each one of us to humble Ourself:
We are to recognize our limitations and weaknesses, and acknowledge God’s sovereignty in each of our lives.
I also encourage everyone of us to surrender to God and trust God completely, obeying His will and seeking His face.

Holy God, I ask that You bless us as we walk in humility and surrender, trusting You completely and seeking Your face.
Holy Spirit, give us the mind of Christ, and empower us to humble ourselves, and surrender our All to our Sovereign God.
Jesus, abide with us at all times as we abide in You.
