Beloved, Calvary love is the ultimate demonstration of God’s love for humanity, where Jesus willingly sacrificed himself on the cross to atone for the sins of the world.
Jesus said in John 15:13-14 AMPβ¦
βNo one has greater love [nor stronger commitment] than to lay down his own life for his friends. You are my friends if you keep on doing what I command you.β
This love is the foundation for true, selfless, and eternal love in all relationships, both human and divine.
The foundation of Christian belief is that God’s love is most profoundly demonstrated through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
This sacrifice, often referred to as the atonement, is seen as the ultimate act of love, where Jesus, though innocent, died to reconcile humanity with God, bridging the separation caused by sin.

βFor God so [greatly] loved and dearly prized the world, that He [even] gave His [One and] only begotten Son, so that whoever believes and trusts in Him [as Savior] shall not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge and condemn the world [that is, to initiate the final judgment of the world], but that the world might be saved through Him.β

1 Corinthians 13:4-6 AMP
βLove endures with patience and serenity, love is kind and thoughtful, and is not jealous or envious; love does not brag and is not proud or arrogant.
It is not rude; it is not self-seeking, it is not provoked [nor overly sensitive and easily angered]; it does not take into account a wrong endured. It does not rejoice at injustice, but rejoices with the truth [when right and truth prevail].β
