Jesus’s death and resurrection secured victory over sin and death, granting him ultimate authority over these forces
Also, Jesus demonstrated his authority to forgive sins, something only God could do, demonstrating his divine nature.

Holy God, thank You for yet another day.
Lord, thank You for the divine authority that You have gave to Jesus Christ.
Thank You, Lord Jesus for giving us, believers in You , authority over scorpions and serpents, and nothing can harm us. (Luke 10:19)
Lord Jesus, abide with us as we abide In Your presence.
Holy Spirit, be glorified in all that we do, and strengthen us when we are weak.
