Beloved, there are several Bible scriptures that can be used to declare God’s power over evil plans.
2 Thessaloniansโฌ โญ3โฌ:โญ3โฌ โญAMPโฌโฌ assures us;
โ But the Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen you [setting you on a firm foundation] and will protect and guard you from the evil one.โ

Jesus Christ is our example of how to counter the enemy with the Word of God. He uses the words โIt is writtenโ at least 3 times when Satan came to tempt and attack Jesus.
Please read in Matthew 4:4, Matthew 4:7, and Matthew 4:10 where Jesus uses the phrase โIt is writtenโ right before He used scripture as weapons to cancel the enemyโs plans.
We can be equipped to do the same when we meditate on and know the Word of God.

Isaiah 54:17 declares that any weapon or plan formed against believers will not succeed, and every tongue that opposes them in judgment will be condemned.

โ No weapon that is formed against you will succeed; And every tongue that rises against you in judgment you will condemn. This [peace, righteousness, security, and triumph over opposition] is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And this is their vindication from Me,โ says the Lord.โ

Psalms 21:11 highlights the futility of evil schemes against God’s chosen ones, promising that their plots will not succeed.

โ For they planned evil against You; They devised a [malevolent] plot And they will not succeed.โ

Ephesians 6:16 emphasizes the importance of faith as a shield against the enemy’s fiery darts, encouraging believers to use it to protect themselves from spiritual attacks.

โ Above all, lift up the [protective] shield of faith with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.โ
Luke 10:19 grants believers authority to overcome the enemy’s power and assures them that nothing will harm them.

โ Listen carefully: I have given you authority [that you now possess] to tread on serpents and scorpions, and [the ability to exercise authority] over all the power of the enemy (Satan); and nothing will [in any way] harm you.โ

Read Jeremiah 11:18-23, a passage that describes Jeremiah’s enemies plotting against him, but also highlights God’s intervention and protection.
Read Psalms 37:12-40, a passage that emphasizes that the wicked make evil plans against good people, but ultimately their schemes will fail.
Psalms 144:6 encourages believers to call upon God to scatter their enemies and defeat their plans.

โ Flash lightning and scatter my enemies; Send out Your arrows and confuse and embarrass and frustrate them.โ

1 John 3:8 states that whoever practices sin is of the devil, reminding believers of the enemy’s destructive nature and Jesus’ victory over it.

โ The one who practices sin [separating himself from God, and offending Him by acts of disobedience, indifference, or rebellion] is of the devil [and takes his inner character and moral values from him, not God]; for the devil has sinned and violated Godโs law from the beginning. The Son of God appeared for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil.โ
1 Peter 5:8 encourages believers to be vigilant and sober-minded, recognizing the devil’s prowling presence and seeking protection in God.
1 Peterโฌ โญ5โฌ:โญ8โฌ โญAMPโฌโฌ warned;
โ Be sober [well balanced and self-disciplined], be alert and cautious at all times. That enemy of yours, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion [fiercely hungry], seeking someone to devour.โ

1 John 5:4 affirms that those born of God overcome the world, emphasizing their spiritual victory over the enemy.

โ For everyone born of God is victorious and overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has conquered and overcome the worldโour [continuing, persistent] faith [in Jesus the Son of God].โ

Romans 8:37 reminds believers that they are more than conquerors through Christ, affirming their victory over the enemy.

โYet in all these things we are more than conquerors and gain an overwhelming victory through Him who loved us [so much that He died for us].โ

Heavenly Father, I come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, declaring that every evil plan of the enemy against my life is canceled and destroyed by the power of the Holy Spirit!
Lord, You are my protector and my strong tower.
No weapon formed against me shall prosper, and every scheme of the enemy is brought to nothing!
I rebuke and overturn every demonic plot, every curse, and every wicked assignment designed to bring harm, delay, or destruction to my life in the name of Jesus Christ.
I break every chain of oppression, fear, and manipulation in Jesus’ name!
