Beloved, as we start this new week, let us meditate on PSALM 84 in order to yearn for the presence of our God and dwell in His presence.
PSALM 84 tells usโฆ
โHow lovely is your dwelling place, LORD Almighty!
My soul yearns, even faints, for the courts of the LORD;
My heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.
Even the sparrow has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may have her youngโ a place near your altar, LORD Almighty, my King and my God.
Blessed are those who dwell in your house; they are ever praising you.
Blessed are those whose strength is in you, whose hearts are set on pilgrimage.
As they pass through the Valley of Baka, they make it a place of springs; the autumn rains also cover it with pools.
They go from strength to strength, till each appears before God in Zion.
Hear my prayer, LORD God Almighty; listen to me, God of Jacob.
Look on our shield, O God; look with favor on your anointed one.
Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere;
I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked.
For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD bestows favor and honor; no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless.
LORD Almighty, blessed is the one who trusts in you.

Most gracious God, we thank You for life, and for bringing us to this day.
Lord, we give You all glory and adoration for who You are in our lives.
Jesus You are an amazing Savior. You deserve all the glory for loving us so much.
Being in Your presence in a personal thing, therefore, we pray personally.
Lord God, You are my home.
You are where I always want to be, Lord God.
Lord, Psalm 84 tells us about the Psalmist yearning, even fainting for Your courts, his heart and flesh crying out to You.
God this is how I want my relationship with You to be. Help me Holy Spirit, to desire You above any other in my life.
Holy Spirit, help me to yearn for Your presence.
I want this yearning and longing for You.
I can not make myself feel like this. I donโt want an emotion, I want this to be real in me, not some kind of manufactured feeling.
O God, as I go about my work today, I pray that I will find strength in You.
I pray that You will give me strength to control my tongue and be wise in my speech.
I pray that You will give me strength in my thought life, so that I might dwell only on good things.
I pray that You will give me strength to believe that You are able to help me when all seems to go against me.
Help me Lord in my times of unbelief.
Help me when I hurt, physically or emotionally.
Help me to grow in faith.
Help me to trust in You.
I know that it is true that โbetter is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere.
I pray that the influence of the world around me will grow less and less, and that my contentment will come from my relationship with You.
Lord You are light in my life, You guide my way.
You protect me from the enemy and his plans to destroy.
Thank You for all the good things in my life, I will ALWAYS trust in You Lord.
