*A Prayer For Help In Times Of Difficulties*
Lord, I wait patiently for You; Listen to me and hear my request. You brought me up out of a horrible pit, You set me on a rock and established my life.
You put a new song in my heart, Even praise to You for delivering me. Many will hear my song of worship to You, They will also put their trust in You. You bless all those who trust You for salvation, And those who repent from their lies and arrogance. Lord, You have done many wonderful works; You have kept me in Your thoughts. I cannot understand all You do for me, The things You do for me cannot be remembered. You do not want me to bring sacrifices to You, I come to You the way You command in Scripture.
You want me to obey Your will, My heart delights to do Your command. I have told everyone to live right, You know I was never ashamed to testify for You. I have not been a “secret believer,” You know I told everyone about Your faithfulness to me. I didn’t keep quiet about my faith, I told everyone I was Your follower. Therefore, don’t withhold Your tender mercy from me; Lord, preserve me as You have promised. There are so many temptations I can’t count them, They make me feel guilty and discouraged.
Lord, please come deliver me from the evil one; Come quickly, I need You now. Embarrass them that are trying to defeat me, Let them suffer the defeat they plan for me. Let them experience the misery of their sin That they plan for me to experience. Let all that seek You rejoice in Your salvation, Let them have the pleasure of magnifying You continually. Lord, You know I am poor and needy; Look to me in my time of need. Come help me get through my difficulties, Come quickly, God, because I need You now. In Jesus’ mighty name I pray.
