In Matthew 28:18 AMPโฆ
โJesus came up and said to them, โAll authority (all power of absolute rule) in heaven and on earth has been given to Me.โโ
Beloved, the Bible teaches that Jesus possesses supreme, universal authority, as He stated in Matthew 28:18.
The authority given to Jesus Christ is POWER delegated by God the Father, making Him divine and sovereign over creation, sickness, evil, and death, demonstrated by His authoritative teaching, miracles, and commissioning of His followers to make disciples of all nations.
Universal & Divine: Jesus asserts that all authority in heaven and on earth belongs to Him (Read Matthew 28:18), a claim only God could make, establishing His divine nature and supreme rule.
Delegated by God: While eternal as God, His kingship and this “all authority” were formally inaugurated through His resurrection and exaltation, given to Him by the Father.
Over Creation & Nature: He demonstrates power over natural forces, feeding the multitudes (Read Mark 6) and commanding the wind and waves.
Over Sickness & Demons: Jesus has authority to heal diseases and cast out demons, showing power over spiritual and physical ailments (Read Mark 1, Mark 5).
Over Sin & Death: He proved His authority to forgive sins (Read Mark 2) and raise the dead (Read Mark 5).
In Teaching: People were amazed because He taught with intrinsic authority, unlike the scribes (Read Mark 1:22, Luke 4:32).
In Commissioning: He uses this authority as the basis for the Great Commission, sending His disciples to make disciples of all nations, baptizing and teaching them.

Foundation for the Church: His authority underpins the church’s mission and the commands given to believers.

Most gracious God, thank You for the authority that You impacted in Jesus Christ.
Thank You Lord Jesus for giving us, the authority in You through our faith in You.
Jesus, In Your Authority Lord, You reign!
No one can compare to You, for You hold the heavens in Your hand!
I praise You, God, for all authority is given to You.
All Might and dominion and power belong to You.
Yes, Lord, You are deserving of these things, for who has a heart like Yours?
Who but you can rule perfectly?
I praise You for Your authority over me.
Lord, I worship You for Your authority over the grave.
I praise You! For there is none like You, and all creatures both spiritual and physical are subject to You.
For You are Lord and reign over all.
Everything is Yours and belongs to Your name alone.
Lord, Reign in my life in all Your authority.
I surrender to Your Lordship, Jesus!
I surrender to Your purpose and Your plans.
Be mighty in my life, O Godโmighty to save and swift to deliver.
Hear my prayers, Lord, and remember me according to Your loving-kindness.
Father Showcase Your loving authority over my life.
Be my Lord and reign continually in my life.
I desire You, and I desire to chase after Your heart Jesus .
I praise You, God, and I thank You that You have the authority.
There is no one but You who would do rightly with it.
Iโm glad that You are the One to have it.
Lord, I surrender my ALL to You.
Abide with us at all times Jesus.
