The amazing thing about the Holy Spirit is that He brings believers to a place of complete and total trust in Jesus Christ.
The Holy Spirit unites us with the Lord and provides us with access to so many wonderful benefits that come as a result of accepting Christ into our hearts.
Acts 2:38 (NKJV) reads, “Then Peter said to them, ‘Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. “
The Holy Spirit is referred to as a gift. He is a wonderful gift from God to us believers.
He is a gift because you will not find a better helper on this earth than the Holy Spirit.
He enables us to do the right thing.
He convicts us to repent and turn away from sin.
The Holy Spirit strengthens us in the Lord.
He empowers us to pray and have faith.
The Holy Spirit is a teacher, He reveals the Word of God to us and gives us understanding and insight.
Luke 12:12 (NKJV) declares, “For the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say.”
There are so many blessings that come with the Holy Spirit.
When you are trapped by temptation, He will come to your rescue and empower you to overcome.
If you feel empty, if you feel as though there is a void in your life, invite the Holy Spirit into your heart.
In the lives of many believers, the lack of understanding about the Holy Spirit and his role in our lives is the missing link to an effective and fruitful walk with Christ.
John 16:13 (ESV) says, “When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come.”
We need the Holy Spirit because He guides us into all truth.
The Bible teaches us that Jesus is the truth, for Jesus says, “I am the way, the truth, and the life.”
The Holy Spirit will guide you to Jesus Christ.
The Holy Spirit will reveal Jesus Christ to you.
The Holy Spirit will enable you to seek the Lord wholeheartedly.
This is why we absolutely need the Holy Spirit in our lives.
A successful Christian life is impossible without the Holy Spirit.

NOW LET US PRAY
Heavenly Father, You are the One who sustains me. You are my provider.
I humbly enter Your presence seeking Your forgiveness, seeking for You to cleanse me, for I am a sinner.
I repent and I ask for the blood of Jesus Christ to wash me clean so that the Holy Spirit can dwell within me.
I recognize that I need the gift of the Holy Spirit. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit so that I can have a closer walk with You.
Lord, I desire to know Your will and to be filled with Godly desires in my life. Your Word says that no one knows the thoughts of God except through the Spirit of God.
Reveal to me Your will for my life through the Holy Spirit. I pray that the Holy Spirit would reveal You more to me each and every day.
I pray that the Holy Spirit shows me Your way. May He guide me into all truth, even in times of doubts and confusion.
I pray that Your Spirit of Truth will rule over my life. I pray for the spirit of discernment so that I may not believe the lies of the devil. Help me to identify deception and to only be sensitive to the things of God.
When the devil wants me to believe that I will never overcome the challenge before me, may the Spirit of God remind me that…
Romans 8:37-39 (NIV) says,
“No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Set me free, O God, from the lies and misconceptions of this world.
I pray that I may always be inspired and led by Your Spirit of Truth.
Holy Spirit, I desire to live a life that is pure and holy in the sight of God. I cannot do it alone. Light a fire in my soul for Jesus Christ.
Holy Spirit, stir up my spirit so that I can chase the Lord with desperation.
Empower me, Lord Jesus, so that I may be able to rise above this life of sin. Renew me, sanctify me, and make me clean so that I can live a life that is pleasing to you.
Remove impure desires. Turn my heart away from the lust of the flesh. Turn my heart away from the lust of the eyes and the pride of life.
The Bible says in Romans 8:26 (NKJV), “Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we know not what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.”
If I am too weak to pray, intercede on my behalf Holy Spirit, step in and be My Helper.
Lord, I want to bear good fruit in my life.
I want to have a character that is loving, humble, and peaceful.
I invite you to be with me always Holy Spirit.
I thank you for hearing my prayer.
Father, keep us protected throughout this week.
