Beloved, one of the scriptures that I personally pray whenever I want to express my gratitude and acknowledge God’s goodness and mercy towards me and my family is Psalm 103. The verses in this chapter present a reflection of Jesus and the God head as LOVER OF MY SOUL.
Let us pause right now and slowly read Psalm 103.
Let us pay attention to verse 13 which tells us that; “Just as a father loves his children, So the Lord loves those who fear and worship Him [with awe-filled respect and deepest reverence].” – Psalms 103:13 AMP
In the middle of our busyness and somewhat hectic lifestyles, It behooves us as believers in Christ to create a lifestyle that includes fear and worship God with awe-filled respect and deepest reverence, so that we can enjoy the benefits of God as expressed in Psalm 103.
Among many benefits, we have some quick reminders in verses 1 to 5 which says ; and do not forget any of His benefits;
* Who forgives all your sins
* Who heals all your diseases
* Who redeems your life from the pit
* Who crowns you [lavishly] with lovingkindness and tender mercy
* Who satisfies your years with good things, So that your youth is
renewed like the [soaring] eagle. [Is 40:31]
LET US PRAY
Sweet Jesus, thank You Lord for loving us the way You do. Therefore, we bless Your Holy Name for all Your benefits that You have poured on us, those who fear and worship you with respect and reverence. Thank You for Your saving grace. Thank You for Your mercy that endures forever.
Lord, help us to create a lifestyle that includes fear and worshiping You with awe-filled respect and deepest reverence. Abide with us at ALL times. In Jesus Mighty name I pray. Amen
