𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐏 𝐈𝐍 𝐒𝐏𝐈𝐑𝐈𝐓 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐓𝐑𝐔𝐓𝐇.
True worship is not just rituals or traditions.
It must come from the heart (spirit) and be based on God’s Word (truth).
John 4:24 tells us…
“God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.”
𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐏 𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐇 𝐑𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐀𝐖𝐄.
Worship is honoring God’s holiness.
Approach Him with respect, not casually.
Hebrews 12:25 tells us…
“let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe.”
𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐏 𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐇 𝐀 𝐂𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐍 𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐓.
Sin hinders our worship.
We are to confess with repentant heart and cleanse before we come to worship God.
Psalm 24:3:4 tells us…
“Who may ascend the mountain of the Lord?… The one who has clean hands and a pure heart…”
𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐏 𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐇 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐊𝐒𝐆𝐈𝐕𝐈𝐍𝐆
God values obedience over outward acts.
We are to live a life that honors Him.
1 Samuel 15:2 tells us…
“Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise…
𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐏 𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐇 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐋𝐈𝐅𝐄
Worship is more than Sunday singing.
It’s how we live every day for God’s glory.
Romans 12:1 tells us…
“Offer your bodies as a living sacrifice… this is your true and proper worship.”

𝐍𝐎𝐖 𝐋𝐄𝐓 𝐔𝐒 𝐏𝐑𝐀𝐘
Great and Mighty God, only You are worthy to be worshipped and adored.
Lord Jesus, I pray that You give us Your grace and mercy to cleanse our hearts in preparation for worship.
Holy Spirit, I pray that You give us humble hearts in your presence whenever we approach Your throne of grace in worship.
Father, give us a heart of gratitude as we worship.
Lord help us to worship You in reverence and awe.
Holy Spirit, empower us to worship You with our lives.
Lord Jesus abide with us at all times as we abide in You.
