Today, the nation of the United States celebrates her Independence Day.
However, there is urgent need for healing and restoration in our land. This is true for many nations around the world who are represented in our community of believers in Christ.
God is very clear in His Word about the pathway to healing our land.
The most well-known scripture about healing our land is 2 Chronicles 7:14
2 Chronicles 7:14 AMP declares God’s promise to heal our land.
”and if My people, who are called by My Name, humble themselves, and pray and seek (crave, require as a necessity)
My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear [them] from heaven, and forgive their sin and heal their land.”
This verse emphasizes a conditional promise from God.
It suggests that when God’s people;
humble themselves,
seek Him, and
turn away from sin,
He will respond by forgiving their sins and healing the land.
