The background scenery was that Jesus’ disciples observed that a fig tree which Jesus cursed had withered from the root. In amazement, Peter called Jesus’ attention to what had happened to the fig tree. The Bible tells us that Jesus responded in Mark 11: 22-26 with what I believe leads to answered prayers.
Jesus replied, “Have faith in God [constantly].
FAITH IS REQUIRED – He said, I assure you and most solemnly say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea….
NO DOUBTING – ….and does not doubt in his heart [in God’s unlimited power], but believes that what he says is going to take place, it will be done for him [in accordance with God’s will]. [Ref: Matt 17:20; Luke 17:6; 1 John 5:14]
ASK ACCORDING TO GOD’S WILL – Jesus continued; … For this reason, I am telling you, whatever things you ask for in prayer [in accordance with God’s will].
BELIEVE – …believe [with confident trust] that you have received them, and they will be given to you.
PRACTICE FORGIVENESS(do not hold any grudges). Jesus continued: …. Whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him [drop the issue, let it go], so that your Father who is in heaven will also forgive you your transgressions and wrongdoings [against Him and others]. [But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your transgressions.”]”

LET US PRAY
Holy God, thank You for the gift of prayer, which allows us to commune with You. Thank You, Jesus, for giving us examples of how to approach prayer with FAITH, WITHOUT DOUBT, ACCORDING TO YOUR WILL, BELIEVING AND PRACTICING FORGIVENESS.
Lord, give us the grace that will enable us to emulate You in praying answered prayers. Let Your name be glorified in and through us. Abide with us, Jesus! In Your mighty name, I pray.
Amen
Have a blessed day
