One of the most important things that the military has to do in preparation for a war is to know the enemy before heading to the war.
All of us humans are in a war, whether we believe it or not. The enemy is the devil, and it Is important to know how to deal with him and his cohorts so that they flee from us as we are victorious over them.
Just in case there is anyone among us who does not know the identity of the devil, here is a short summary:
For those of us who are God’s creations, who are also loved deeply by God. The devil is our arch enemy. He hates everything and everyone that God loves. In fact, Jesus in John 10:10 called the devil a thief, and his goal is to KILL, STEAL, and DESTROY.
“The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows].” – John 10:10 AMP
None of us would want such an entity like the devil to hang around us or our family. The Word of God gave us instructions on how to get the devil to flee from us in James 4:7.
So submit to [the authority of] God. Resist the devil [stand firm against him], and he will flee from you.” – James 4:7 AMP
The first thing to do is to submit ourselves to the authority of God.
Secondly, we must resist the devil by standing firm against him.
Then he will flee from us.

LET US PRAY
Holy God, thank You for another day in life. We thank you for all the way that You have shielded us from the attackers of the devil. Thank You for the opportunity that we have to learn how to get rid of the devil and his cohorts from our presence. Help us to recognize it when we are being influenced by his lies. Abide with us today, Lord. In the matchless name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen
