The definition of FOCUS, is to pay particular attention to something. It not just looking at something, it also engages our minds and thoughts.
When we focus on something, we are thinking about it and such focus usually have influence on how we act or conduct ourselves.
Beloved, the Bible is packed with Godβs goodness for us to focus on and engage our minds and thoughts.
Apostles Paul, in his letter to the Philippians is very specific on how and what we should focus our thoughts on

βFinally, believers,
whatever is true,
whatever is honorable and
worthy of respect,
whatever is right and
whatever is confirmed by Godβs word,

whatever is lovely and
brings peace,
whatever is admirable and
of good repute;
if there is any excellence,
if there is anything worthy of praise,
think continually on these things [center your mind on them, and implant them in your heart].
The things which you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things [in daily life], and the God [who is the source] of peace and well-being will be with you.β

The Bible emphasizes faith, hope, and joy even amidst challenges; uplifting aspects of life, cultivate gratitude, and trust in God’s plan.

We must choose to start our day with the positive.

When we are tempted to worry about anything in our lives, the Word of God points us to how we get rid of our worries.

but in everything [every circumstance and situation]
by prayer and petition with thanksgiving,
continue to make your [specific] requests known to God.
And the peace of God [that peace which reassures the heart,

that peace which] stands guard over your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus [is yours]. [John 14:27]β

We are to live in perpetual hope in Jesus Christ

Focusing on Godβs goodness is not about ignoring or denying the negative realities, but about choosing to focus on what is positive, trusting in Godβs plan, and finding joy and hope in His presence, even when we face challenges.

Holy God, thank You for Your immense goodness and mercy towards humanity.
Thank You Jehovah God for making provisions for us in Your promises to those who believe in Your son, Jesus Christ.
Thank You, Holy Spirit for helping us to choose to focus on Your goodness and all the positive things that You have made available to us.
Thank You, Lord for flooding our minds and thoughts with Your goodness as we stay focused on You.
Abide with us, Lord Jesus as we abide in You.
