How God Opens Our Eyes To See His Protection – By Iwalola(Lola) Ademodi

Beloved, It is my belief that we are not aware of how much God protects us and our loved ones from unseen battles on a daily basis.

We serve a God who fights our battles and He is mighty to save us from any and all battles that come against those who believe in Him.

Such was the case of Prophet Elisha, whose enemies went after him to destroy him. While his enemies surrounded him, God sent His warring angels to surround him and protect him.

Elisha’s servant’s eyes are opened to see God’s protection in the form of an army of angels surrounding them.

2 Kings‬ ‭6‬:‭15‬-‭17‬ ‭AMP‬‬ tells us how God helped Elisha to open the eyes of his servant to see God’s protection for him.

”The servant of the man of God got up early and went out, and behold, there was an army with horses and chariots encircling the city.

Elisha’s servant said to him, “Oh no, my master! What are we to do?”

Elisha answered, “Do not be afraid, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.”

Then Elisha prayed and said, “Lord, please, open his eyes that he may see.”

And the Lord opened the servants eyes and he saw; and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire surrounding Elisha.”

”God has the power to help us to recognize and understand His protective presence in our lives. He can open our eyes as well to allow us to see the battles He is fighting for us.

God can give us Spiritual awakening – to perceive His guidance and presence(Read Romans 13:11, Ephesians 5:14, Psalms 51:10).

God helps us to recognize blessings and opportunities that God provides(1 Corinthians 16:9).

God helps us to face challenges with faith – to trust in God’s protection during times of hardship(Jeremiah 29:11).

We are to Pray for God to open our eyes – as a way of seeking greater spiritual understanding and awareness of His presence in daily life(2 Kings 6:17).

God opens our eyes and see His protection includes spiritual awareness, recognizing blessings, and facing challenges with faith.

𝐍𝐎𝐖 𝐋𝐄𝐓 𝐔𝐒 𝐏𝐑𝐀𝐘

Holy God, thank You for fighting our battles both seen and unseen .

Father open our eyes so we can see and know the magnitude of the victories that You have won on our behalf.

Thank You father for surrounding us with Your protective armies of angels at all times. Glory to Your holy name.

Holy Spirit, stand guard over each of our lives.

In Jesus Christ’s most powerful name I have prayed! Amen
