Today is the third day, as we go throughout this week’s daily devotionals, to explore what pleases God in the life of the believer in Christ.
As a reminder, the intent is that we will all have some understanding of what pleases God so that we can align our lives to His desires with the help of His Holy Spirit.
NOW LET US CONTINUE TO EXPLORE WHAT PLEASES GOD.
Showing mercy and kindness reflects the heart of God.
Micah 6:8 AMP
“He has told you, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you:
Except to be just, and
to love [and to diligently practice] kindness (compassion),
And to walk humbly with your God [setting aside any overblown sense of importance or self-righteousness]?”
Also, Deuteronomy 10:12-13 AMP speak to us…
“And now, what does the Lord your God require from you,
but to fear [and worship] the Lord your God [with awe-filled reverence and profound respect],
to walk [that is, to live each and every day] in all His ways and to love Him, and
to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul [your choices, your thoughts, your whole being], and
to keep the commandments of the Lord and His statutes which I am commanding you today for your good?”
The Lord delights in those who seek justice daily.
Isaiah 1:17 AMP encourages us…
“Learn to do good. Seek justice, Rebuke the ruthless, Defend the fatherless, Plead for the [rights of the] widow [in court].”
Faithful stewardship and diligence bring the Lord’s approval.
Matthew 25:21 AMP tells us about God’s approval to diligence …
“His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful and trustworthy over a little, I will put you in charge of many things; share in the joy of your master.”
Praising God with sincerity pleases Him more than sacrifices.
Psalms 69:30-31 AMP encourages us…
“I will praise the name of God with song And magnify Him with thanksgiving. And it will please the Lord better than an ox Or a young bull with horns and hoofs.”
The Lord rejoices when sinners truly repent and return.
Luke 15:7 AMP declares…
“I tell you, in the same way there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous people who have no need of repentance.”

NOW LET US PRAY
Most Holy God, thank You for this day of life.
Fathers, as we seek to know what pleases You, meet us at the points of our needs.
Holy Spirit, reveal all that pleases You to us in Your own way.
Lord, lead, guide and direct us into the center of Your will and desires.
Lord Jesus, strengthen our resolves to seek and know what pleases You.
Help us dear Lord to identify Your desires and adjust our lives to align with Your will.
Empower us Lord, to do what pleases You in our lives, so that You are glorified.
Abide with us at all times Lord Jesus.
In Jesus Christ’s most precious name I pray. Amen ![]()
Have a blessed day ![]()
