Beloved, it is not far fetched to say that we live in trying, perilous and challenging times.
However, challenging times and trials create opportunities for us to trust God the Father, God the son and God the Holy Spirit with every single struggle and trial that we encounter.
James 1:2-4 tells us:
”Consider it nothing but joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you fall into various trials.
Be assured that the testing of your faith [through experience] produces endurance [leading to spiritual maturity, and inner peace].
And let endurance have its perfect result and do a thorough work, so that you may be perfect and completely developed [in your faith], lacking in nothing.”
Based on the Word of God, He sees our challenges as opportunity in His hands to allow Him to mold, build us to maturity in faith.
God uses our trials and tribulations, which is the testing of our faith to produce endurance in us and grow us spiritually.
God promised to help us in times of trouble. He promised to be present with us…
Psalm 46 tells us:
God is our refuge and strength [mighty and impenetrable],
A very present and well-proved help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change And though the mountains be shaken and slip into the heart of the seas,
Though its waters roar and foam,
Though the mountains tremble at its roaring.
There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God,
The holy dwelling places of the Most High. God is in the midst of her [His city], she will not be moved;
God will help her when the morning dawns.
The nations made an uproar, the kingdoms tottered and were moved; He raised His voice, the earth melted.
The Lord of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our stronghold [our refuge, our high tower]. Come, behold the works of the Lord, Who has brought desolations and wonders on the earth.
He makes wars to cease to the end of the earth; He breaks the bow into pieces and snaps the spear in two; He burns the chariots with fire.
Be still and know (recognize, understand) that I am God.
I will be exalted among the nations! I will be exalted in the earth.” The Lord of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our stronghold [our refuge, our high tower].”
NOW LET US PRAY
TRIUNE God, than You for never leaving us when we are faced with trials and challenges. Lord, we trust You completely! Use our trials and challenges for Your glory. Protect us throughout the day. In Jesus Christ majestic name I pray
