When we go through tough times, as we all will at some point. I don’t know about you, I am encouraged to know and understand God’s promises to those of us who believe in Him.
Here are some of God’s promises for us from His Word.
* I WILL STAND BY YOU
When he calls to me, I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him and honor him. – Psalm 91:15.
* I WILL HOLD YOUR HANDS
For I, the LORD your God will hold your right hand, Saying to you, Fear not, I will help you. – Isaiah 41: 13.
* WILL FIGHT YOUR FIGHTS
The LORD will fight for you, while you keep silent. – Exodus 14:14.
*I WILL GIVE YOU STRENGTH
Don’t panic. I’m with you. There’s no need to fear for l’m your God. I’ll give you strength. I’ll help you. I’ll hold you steady, keep a firm grip on you. – Isaiah 41: 10.
* I WILL WIPE YOUR TEARS
And I will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away. – Revelation 21:4.
* I WILL BE YOUR LIGHT WHEN EVERY OTHER LIGHT IS OUT
Your days of grief will come to an end. I, the LORD, will be your eternal light, More lasting than the sun and moon. – Isaiah 60:20.
* I WILL NOT LET YOU DOWN
For I will be with you as I was with Moses. / will not fail you or abandon you: ~ Joshua 1.5b.
* I AM YOUR REFUGE
God is our refuge and strength [mighty and impenetrable], A very present and well-proved help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change And though the mountains be shaken and slip into the heart of the seas, Though its waters roar and foam, Though the mountains tremble at its roaring. Selah. The Lord of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our stronghold [our refuge, our high tower]. Selah.“ ~ Psalms 46:1-3, 7 AMP
PRAY ALONG
Holy God,
Thank You for Your promises toward me in times of troubles. Thank You for loving me enough to be my refuge, and a very present help whenever troubles come my way. I trust in You Lord to see me through tough times as You have promised. I glorify your name. Father, I pray that You will continue to help me and my family through any and all tough times. In Jesus’ Mighty name I pray. Amen
