He made it very clear in the scripture that He has a will for those who are believers in Christ.
I submit to you that the best place for us to be in our lives is in the center of God’s will at all times. Here are some of these promises:
* Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” whenever you turn to the right hand Or whenever you turn to the left. ISAIAH 30:21
* If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. JAMES 1:5–6
* When you roam, [God’s commands] will lead you; When you sleep, they will keep you; And when you awake, they will speak with you. PROVERBS 6:22
* This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. JOSHUA 1:8
* For this is God, Our God forever and ever; He will be our guide Even to death. PSALM 48:14
All the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes, But the LORD weighs the spirits.
* Commit your works to the LORD, and your thoughts will be established. PROVERBS 16:2–3
* The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD, and He delights in his way. PSALM 37:23
* Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen. HEBREWS 13:20–21
LET US PRAY
Father in heaven, thank You for this day and for another week. Glory to Your holy name. Lord, thank You for the beautiful promises in Your Word that You will guide and lead us. Help us to hear You whenever You speak Your will into our lives, even as we make decisions, whether to go left or right. Help us to rely on Your guidance in all that we do. In Jesus’ mighty name, I pray. Amen
