~ 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐨𝐝𝐥𝐲)

God has unwavering foundation and the importance of distinguishing between true believers and those who have turned away from righteousness is important to Him.

The Lord knows His followers intimately. This is a comforting thought for believers, assuring us of God’s personal care and attention.

2 Timothy 2:19 AMP tells us…

“Nevertheless, the firm foundation of God [which He has laid] stands [sure and unshaken despite attacks], bearing this seal:

“The Lord knows those who are His,” and, “Let everyone who names the name of the Lord stand apart from wickedness and withdraw from wrongdoing.”

This verse encourages believers to separate themselves from evil and live a life that reflects their faith.

𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐄 𝐀𝐑𝐄 𝐒𝐎𝐌𝐄 𝐎𝐅 𝐆𝐎𝐃’𝐒 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐌𝐈𝐒𝐄𝐒 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐆𝐎𝐃𝐋𝐘

𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐄𝐓𝐒 𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐌 𝐀𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐓

Psalms 4:3 AMP tells us…

“But know that the Lord has set apart for Himself [and dealt wonderfully with] the godly person[the one of honorable character and moral courage—the one who does right]. The Lord hears and responds when I call to Him.”

𝐇𝐄 𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐒 𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐌

God is attentive to those who He calls His own.

John 9:31 AMP tells us…

“We know [according to your tradition] that God does not hear sinners; but if anyone fears God and does His will, He hears him.”

𝐇𝐄 𝐃𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐒 𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐌

A very comforting promise is that the God knows how to deliver and rescue those who are godly.

2 Peter 2:9 AMP tells us…

“then [in light of the fact that all this is true, be sure that] the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trial, and how to keep the unrighteous under punishment until the day of judgment,”

𝐍𝐎𝐖 𝐋𝐄𝐓 𝐔𝐒 𝐏𝐑𝐀𝐘

Loving God, thank You for loving us so much.

Thank You for the promises that You have for those of us who seek Your face.

Lord Jesus thank You for the gift of salvation, which leads us into godliness.

Holy Spirit, thank You for helping us to be godly, it is only by Your grace and mercy that we can live godly lives.

Abide with us Lord Jesus at all times.
