Beloved, when we look into the Word of God, we find that our loving God deeply desires to guide us through life, offering instructions and directions through:
His word,
the Holy Spirit,
and sometimes through circumstances.
His ultimate goal is to lead us towards a righteous path and fulfilling His purpose for our lives.
This is evident in verses like Psalm 32:8 where God says:
”I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;
I will counsel you with my eye upon you.”.
In addition to the above scripture, the amount of God’s promises to guide us is so versatile in His Word that we cannot miss them.
Let us share and meditate on some of these promises together:
In Proverbs 3: 5-6 we are encouraged to “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths”
John 16:13 tells us;
“When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come.”
Psalm 119:105 declares;
“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”
Isaiah 58:11 promises;
“And the Lord will guide you continually and satisfy your desire in scorched places and make your bones strong; and you shall be like a watered garden, like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail.”
Proverbs 16:9 tells us:
The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps.
Isaiah 30:21 tells us
“And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” when you turn to the right or when you turn to the left.”
Psalm 25:4-5 declares
“Make me to know your ways, O Lord; teach me your paths. Lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; for you I wait all the day long.”
Psalm 37:23-24 tells us:
“The steps of a man are established by the Lord, when he delights in his way; though he fall, he shall not be cast headlong, for the Lord upholds his hand.”
Psalm 25:9 tells us:
“He leads the humble in what is right, and teaches the humble his way.”
Psalm 37:23 declares:

John 14:26 promised:
“But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.”
Psalm 31:3 declares:
“For you are my rock and my fortress; and for your name’s sake you lead me and guide me;”
Psalm 16:7-8 prays:
“I bless the Lord who gives me counsel; in the night also my heart instructs me. I have set the Lord always before me; because he is at my right hand, I shall not be shaken.”
James 1:5-8 promised us divine wisdom
“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind. For that person must not suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.”
Psalm 143:8 tells us;
“Let me hear in the morning of your steadfast love, for in you I trust. Make me know the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul.”
Isaiah 48:17 promised:
“Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: “I am the Lord your God, who teaches you to profit, who leads you in the way you should go.”
Psalm 5:8 requests;
“Lead me, O Lord, in your righteousness because of my enemies; make your way straight before me.”
In John 10:3-4 tells us:
”To him the gatekeeper opens. The sheep hear his voice, and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.
When he has brought out all his own, he goes before them, and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice.”
Proverbs 22:6 encourages us to:
“Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.”
Romans 8:14 declares;
“For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.”
Proverbs 1:5 suggests;
“Let the wise hear and increase in learning, and the one who understands obtain guidance,”
Psalm 25:9-10 promises;
”He leads the humble in what is right, and teaches the humble his way.
All the paths of the Lord are steadfast love and faithfulness, for those who keep his covenant and his testimonies.”
Matthew 6:33 declares;
“But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”
Luke 1:79 promises;
“To give light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.”
Psalm 73:24 declares;
“You guide me with your counsel, and afterward you will receive me to glory.”
Psalm 48:14 promises;
“That this is God, our God forever and ever. He will guide us forever.”
Proverbs 16:3 tells us:
“Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.”
Psalm 25:5 requests;
“Lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; for you I wait all the day long.”
Proverbs 20:24 says:
“A man’s steps are from the Lord; how then can man understand his way?”
Psalm 25:4 requests;
“Make me to know your ways, O Lord; teach me your paths”
These are a few among many more promises from God to guide us.

NOW LET US PRAY
Holy God, thank You for loving us so much even when we are so undeserving.
Thank You Lord for having the master plan to guide each one of us through out our lives into the center of Your will for us.
Father, help us to hear You and discern Your guidance in our lives on a daily basis.
Lord, help us not to be distracted from Your guiding plan for our lives.
I pray these in the most powerful name of Jesus Christ. Amen
