~ EXPERIENCING GOD’S INFINITE WISDOM
The infinite wisdom of God is awe inspiring to say the least. His wisdom in creation and ordering everything in His sovereignty is unmatchable.
Jeremiah 10:12 AMP tells us “God made the earth by His power; He established the world by His wisdom And by His understanding and skill He has stretched out the heavens.”
Romans 11:33-34 AMP declares “ Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and decisions and how unfathomable and untraceable are His ways! For who has known the mind of the Lord, or who has been His counselor?”
God is never at a loss.
He’s not puzzled, baffled, bewildered, or confused about anything.
He doesn’t need time to think things over or do more research or consider other opinions before making a decision.
He never has to correct course, retract a statement, or apologize for mistakes he has made.
God is infinitely wise, able to see the end from the beginning, and he always knows exactly what to do.
No problem can stump him. No difficulty can defeat him. Because God is infinitely loving, powerful, and wise, we can trust him.
God’s wisdom is immeasurable.
It has no height, no depth, no beginning, and no end.
He can untangle every problem and piece together every mys-tery. Because he is infinite, there is nothing his wisdom cannot penetrate.
That means that you can never be in a place where God is unable to help you—unless, of course, you choose to reject his help.
Because we humans are subject to time, we usually operate with a short-term perspective, seeking quick answers to pressing problems. Unable to envision the future from God’s point of view, we want what we want right now.
But God always keeps eternity in mind. Without an eternal perspective, how could he have sent his Son to die for us? If we want his wisdom to characterize our lives, we need to pray that God will help us to embrace an eternal view of life.
If we want to grow in God’s wisdom, the hard truth is that we can’t do it without obeying him.
Why would God continue to reveal his will to us if we continue to refuse to do it?
Rejecting God’s guidance not only leads to a heap of trouble, but it also prevents us from experiencing the joy that can come from watching God’s plans unfold in the midst of our obedience.
Sometimes we think it’s hard to find God’s will. But if we’re faithfully following Christ, we can trust that God will always tell us what we need to know when we need to know it.
For those of us whose hearts are fixed on God, prayers for wisdom do not go unheeded. In fact, God invites us to ask for wisdom when we need it. He promised to generously give us wisdom for the asking.
James 1:5 says “If any of you lacks wisdom [to guide him through a decision or circumstance], he is to ask of [our benevolent] God, who gives to everyone generously and without rebuke or blame, and it will be given to him.”

In Jesus’ matchless name I pray. Amen
