Beloved, the Bible states it is impossible for God to lie because it is part of His unchanging, truthful nature.
๐๐ซ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ก๐๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ง๐๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐ข๐ฌ ๐ฉ๐๐ซ๐ญ ๐จ๐ ๐๐จ๐โ๐ฌ ๐๐ก๐๐ซ๐๐๐ญ๐๐ซ:
The Bible presents God’s truthfulness as an essential part of His being.
Hebrews 6:17-18 AMP tells usโฆ
โIn the same way God, in His desire to show to the heirs of the promise the unchangeable nature of His purpose, intervened and guaranteed it with an oath, so that by two unchangeable things [His promise and His oath] in which it is impossible for God to lie,
we who have fled [to Him] for refuge would have strong encouragement and indwelling strength to hold tightly to the hope set before us.โ
This verses describe God’s inability to lie as a foundation for believers’ hope and encouragement.
Also, 2 Timothy 2:13 AMP declares thatโฆ
โIf we are faithless, He remains faithful [true to His word and His righteous character], for He cannot deny Himself.โ
Titus 1:2 AMP describes God as ever truthful and without deceitโฆ
โbased on the hope and divine guarantee of eternal life, [the life] which God, who is ever truthful and without deceit, promised before the ages of time began,โ
Because God is He “who cannot lie,” links His truthfulness to the promise of eternal life. Another hopeful assurance for believers in Christ.

God’s immutability is contrasted with human fallibility.
This highlights that Godโs nature is fundamentally different from humanity, who are prone to lying and changing its mind.
God is not a man and does not change His mind. He is unchangeable.
Numbers 23:19 AMP declaresโฆ
โGod is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent.
Has He said, and will He not do it? Or has He spoken and will He not make it good and fulfill it?โ

The unchangeable nature of God’s promises is meant to give us believers strong foundation for our faith.
Hebrews 6:18-19:
Explains that because of God’s unchangeable promises and oath, believers can have strong encouragement and hold fast to their hope, which is described as a sure and steadfast anchor for the soul.

Most holy God, thank You for being a God who is true to Your Word.
Thank You for being an unchangeable God, who we can rely on.
God, in Your uniqueness, we confess that You are not a man that You would lie. Lord we trust You.
Holy Spirit of the Living God, to entrust ourselves into the hands of an unchangeable God.
Abide with us at all times , Lord Jesus.
