Beloved , there are benefits in believing God and trusting in His protection and care.
Trusting God in times of difficulty brings relief and comfort.
God’s RELIEF is like no other
We are told in Psalm 91:1,2,14-15 that
”He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High Will remain secure and rest in the shadow of the Almighty [whose power no enemy can withstand].
I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, My God, in whom I trust [with great confidence, and on whom I rely]!”
”Because he set his love on Me, therefore I will save him;
I will set him [securely] on high, because he knows My name [he confidently trusts and relies on Me, knowing I will never abandon him, no, never].
”He will call upon Me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble;
I will rescue him and honor him.
With a long life I will satisfy him And I will let him see My salvation.””
Salvation is the starting point of our relationship with God, and He rescues and protects those who acknowledge Him
God’s REDEMPTION
verse 14 (the SALVATION as our STARTING point)
“Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.”
God hears and honors our prayers, delivering us from trouble and honoring us.
God’s RESPONDING
verse 15, (the HEARING and HONORING to our prayers)
“He will call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him.”
Through salvation, we experience satisfaction and long life, and God shows us His salvation.
God’s REWARD
verse 16, (the SATISFACTION in our SALVATION)
“With long life will I satisfy him and show him my salvation.”
Through faith, we have the greatest security of all – God Himself. No one is more secure than those in God’s hands
