~ YOU ARE HOLY AND BLAMELESS
Beloved, it is natural to say, even as believers that; I thought only God can be Holy and blameless, after all I am a sinner. However, scripture tells us that the Holy Spirit does a great work in us when we accept Jesus Christ as our personal savior.
Scripture declares that we are now holy. Therefore, PLEASE READ THIS SCRIPTURE SLOWLY
And although you were at one time estranged and alienated and hostile-minded [toward Him], participating in evil things, yet Christ has now reconciled you [to God] in His physical body through death, in order to present you before the Father HOLY and BLAMELESS and beyond reproach— [and He will do this] if you continue in the faith, well-grounded and steadfast, and not shifting away from the [confident] hope [that is a result] of the gospel that you have heard, which was proclaimed in all creation under heaven, and of which [gospel] I, Paul, was made a minister.” – Colossians 1:21-23 AMP
Please pay attention to the condition “ if you continue in the faith…”
I am not sure about you, but as I write this, my own mind is screaming, “but what about that sin you did last week?”
If we are not careful, our own mind, that un-renewed mind that sometimes forgets the truth of the Scriptures, wants to say to us that this is a pile of garbage. Our mind, screaming that I am not holy, is the same as the butterfly’s mind screaming and saying that he is not a butterfly but still a caterpillar.
But Scripture declares, as we share in Jesus’ death and resurrection, that we have become a New Creation. As a New Creation, our old, sinful nature has been crucified with Christ and we have arisen as holy.
Colossians 3:12 AMP tells us “So, as God’s own chosen people, who are holy [set apart, sanctified for His purpose] and well-beloved [by God Himself], put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience [which has the power to endure whatever injustice or unpleasantness comes, with good temper];”
As a Christian, we should no longer be taken in by the lusts of the world.
As a New Creation, we should develop the fruit of the Spirit [the result of His presence within us] is love [unselfish concern for others], joy, [inner] peace, patience [not the ability to wait, but how we act while waiting], kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control which makes us Holy.
1 Peter 1:15-16 AMP says “But like the Holy One who called you, be holy yourselves in all your conduct [be set apart from the world by your godly character and moral courage]; because it is written, “You shall be holy (set apart), for I am holy.” [Lev 11:44, 45; 19:2]”

NOW LET US PRAY
Most Holy God, thank You for giving us everything we need to be holy because You are holy. Thank You for the gift of Your in-dwelling Holy Spirit who enables us to be holy as You are Holy, Lord. Father, we ask for Your help to not engage in the lust of the world which can distract us from Your purpose of holiness in us. Abide and protect us in our going and coming today Lord Jesus. In Your matchless name I pray. Amen
Have a blessed day
