Beloved, I submit to you from personal experience that the knowledge and the expression of God’s nature as a believer strengthens our faith in who the Lord is and our relationship with Him.
As a matter of fact when we mention His nature in our prayers we invite Him to manifest those attributes in our lives.
THE LORD IS MY RESTORER.
Life is filled with ups and downs. Whenever we go through difficult time. He and only He is our restorer.
The Bible tells us in Psalms 23:3 AMP that:
”He refreshes and restores my soul (life); He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.”
THE LORD IS MY HELPER.
We all have been in need of help periodically. This is when we call on the Lord as our helper.
Jesus promised us a helper in John 14:16 AMP,
”And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor—Counselor, Strengthener, Standby), to be with you forever”
And Psalm 46.1 AMP says:
”God is our refuge and strength [mighty and impenetrable], A very present and well-proved help in trouble.”
THE LORD IS MY STRENGTH.
When we are weak, the Lord is our one and only strength that we have to lean on.
Isaiah 12:2 AMP declares
”Behold, God, my salvation! I will trust and not be afraid, For the Lord God is my strength and song; Yes, He has become my salvation.”
THE LORD IS MY RESTING PLACE
In a world filled with all kind of upheaval, every believer need a resting place. The Lord’s presence is a place of rest.
The Bible is clear in expressing that the Lord is our resting place.
Psalms 132:14 AMP states:
”This is My resting place forever” [says the Lord]; “Here will I dwell, for I have desired it.”
The Psalmist is calling for God to come and dwell among his people, establishing his “resting place” with them.
THE LORD IS MY OVERCOMER.
The world is treacherous, to say the least. We need to overcome everything that is thrown at us and Jesus knew this was the case.
Jesus said to His disciples in John 16:33, that:
”I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

NOW LET US PRAY
Father Lord, we come giving You all the glory and honor that is due You.
Lord, You are our restorer. We pray that You restore all that the enemy has taken from us.
Father, You are our helper, especially in times of trouble. Lord, I pray that You help us as only You can.
Lord, I pray that You continue to strengthen us, in our weaknesses.
Lord, that You for Your presence with us at all times. You, Lord are our resting place.
Jesus, that You for overcoming the world. I know that we are overcomers as we lean on You to fight our battles for us.
I ask these in the mighty and Holy name of Jesus Christ.
Have a blessed day
