Be encouraged! Jesus our Lord and Savior understands what you are going through. He experienced loneliness. His disciples betrayed and abandoned Him during His journey to the cross.
Judas had already betrayed him. Peter denied Him (John 18:25) And where are the majority of the eleven who remained? Most of them have all scattered, haven’t they? What Jesus predicted came true. JESUS WAS ALONE! Yet He said in John 16:32 that “ ….an hour is coming, and has arrived, when you will all be scattered, each to his own home, leaving Me alone; and yet I am not alone, because THE FATHER IS WITH ME”
Using Jesus as our example, we are never alone, because the Father is with us!
LET US PRAY
Father in heaven, thank You for ALWAYS being with us even when it appears that we are alone. Thank You for the example that Jesus Christ came to display for us when we are alone.
Abide with us today Lord and help those who are lonely among us us to experience your presence with us. In Jesus’ mighty name we pray! Amen
