Brothers and Sisters, I was lead today to share prayers to help us gain Godโs strength and endurance when we are sick going through healing process.
I have had my share of sickness on and off over the years. God in His mercy has been my banner, healer, and encourager.
The Bible teaches that God offers strength, comfort, and presence when you are sick, weak, or suffering.
Psalm 107:20 (NIV)
โHe sent out his word and healed them; he rescued them from the grave.โ
This verse is a powerful reminder of Godโs ability to heal and restore, offering hope even in the darkest moments.
It assures us that His Word brings healing and deliverance, showing His boundless love and mercy.
When facing pain, illness, or a life-threatening diagnosis , itโs natural to feel fear and uncertainty.
However, holding onto faith and trusting in Godโs promises can provide a deep sense of peace and reassurance.
The verse above encourages us to seek Godโs presence through prayer and scripture, remembering that His power extends beyond our understanding and that His plan for our lives is always good.
Isaiah 38:16-17 (NIV)
โLord, by such things people live; and my spirit finds life in them too. You restored me to health and let me live. Surely it was for my benefit that I suffered such anguish. In your love you kept me from the pit of destruction; you have put all my sins behind your back.โ
One of the best Bible verses about healing when facing an illness is Isaiah 38:16-17, which reminds believers in Christ that God can restore us to health and give life to the weary.
This scripture about illness gives spiritual comfort to the loved ones of those suffering, and reveals God’s promises for healing.
One of such promise is found in Jeremiah 30:17
โโFor I will restore health to you And I will heal your wounds,โ says the LORD, โBecause they have called you an outcast, saying: โThis is Zion; no one seeks her and no one cares for her.โ

Mighty God, thank You for this day in life. Glory to Your Holy Name.
Jehovah Rapha, You are my Healer, the One who brought restoration to the weary, sight to the blind, and strength to the broken.
Today, I come to You with my aches, pain, my weakness, and every part of me that needs Your touch.
Strengthen me from within. Let Your presence renew every part of my body that feels tired and worn.
Lord, breathe life into every cell in my body, give energy into my limbs, and peace into my heart.
Father, drive out all that does not belong in my body, and fill me with wholeness and rest.
Lord, when healing feels distant, hold me close. Quiet the restless thoughts that cloud my hope, and calm my anxious thoughts and let Your peace settle deep within me.
Wrap me in the deep assurance that You are working, even in what I cannot yet see.
Bless Medical Professionals who care for me, Lord. Guide the hands that offer treatment and comfort.
Let their words bring reassurance and their presence reflect Your compassion. May every act of care be touched by Your grace.
I give You all my fears and concerns Lord, and help me to rest in the quiet hope that You are healing me, even now.
Lord, abide with us at all times in our going and coming.
I pray these in the merciful name of Jesus Christ. Amen
